Thanks for all the thanks for the posting of the "door sign". It was fun to make, my first venture into computer graphic design...up to now I have been a cut and paster....

Sam was surprised...I have not told him yet that we have the same cabin as we had booked on our Double Dip

I am heading home to see what the temp will be - they are predicting a potential frost, which means hauling in plants.....

PS - Hedgie will be 21 in 2008 - maybe I should make her a door sign since she will be legally able to drink on the cruise.

I think someone needs to be reported to the Florida Bar.

I've seen pictures of you giving Hedgie drinks before which means he was still a minor.

I think contributing to the deliquency of a minor is a crime!

Last night I went to the Truck races at Daytona. Great night for the races. They were predicting bitter cold temps (in the 30s), but it was not that bad. Maybe it was because during the cautions we would run down to the Club Tent where they had heaters and a bar?

Sharon and Lisa have already left this morning for Orlando. Lisa has a meet this morning at 8 am.

Matt and I are packing to head to Tampa. We are running in the Gasparilla Marathon on Sunday. Matt is running the 1/2 marathon.

Matt says that driving from Tampa to Daytona on Sunday (2 1/2 hours) is to far a trip without stopping part way through. He just happens to think that a good stopping place will be AllStar Cafe at WWS. Since he will be driving I can't complain about watching the Daytona 500 at AllStar!

Since we are gone tonight Lisa is having some gym girls over tonight for a sleep over.

Everyone have a great weekend and we will post again on Sunday.

Ray has been swamped with requests for heaters for hospitality suites by race teams that waited til the last minute to decide that it REALLY was going to be cold in FL this weekend... this weather is GREAT for his business!!!! I thought about going to tomorrow's race, but after the 2 weeks that I've had. I'd rather just watch it from the couch.

Good luck tomorrow!!!! I would only run 26.2 miles if someone were chasing me 26.1 miles.

GaRRy, I noticed that too!! Stacey leaves town and look how quiet it's been!! (makes us miss her even more! )

We're home! I checked in from the airport today, managed to post on the Mexican Riviera thread, came over here, and all I got was "website not responding".

We had a good time, the weather was absolutely perfect. Forecast called for rain today, but it was beautiful.

Jared was sick all weekend, and that made it tough for him (and us) to have a good time. I think it's step throat. We did the best we could to keep him comfortable, and made sure we went back to the hotel for a nap in the afternoon.

Friday we were on the ferry to go to Alcatraz, just as the Dawn Princess was pulling out of port. Not much fun to be on the "outside looking in"....wish I were cruising! But the night tour at Alcatraz was really astounding.

Anyway, it's nice to go away, but it's good to be home. I'm beat and heading for bed.
