They were talking about that on our news the other night and they said that a lot of people were trying to blame "Global Warming"

My Dad just called. Mom must be driving him nuts. He wouldn't even think of these things, if she weren't fussing about it. He said "Have you checked the flight? There are flights cancelled and delayed all over!"

I told him I'd already checked, and that they were still on schedule....and he said "But there are flights cancelled to Lubbock and Kansas City!"

"But Dad, you're not flying to Lubbock OR Kansas City........"



I'm amazed they find their way to and from the bathroom without help these days...........

Well we are home from Midland to Cold Weather. Not as cold as in Midland, but enough that the water lines froze last night. That hasn't happened all year.

We ended up having to leave Midland before the swim meet finished yesterday because of road conditions. It was really bad between Midland and Monahans (about a 60-70 mile stretch) and then it was good. Ashley didn't get to swim her last event, but I was just as happy to get home earlier and safer.

She did well, finishing 1st in the 400 IM, 2nd in the 100 Breast and 3rd in the 100 IM.

The cold weather hit here overnight. Went to bed last night it was 75 - awoke to 40 degrees and rain. The full scale panic has hit - the worst of the wet cold weather is supposed to hit tomorrow - hmm - 32 with windshield of 17 degrees with ice. I think I've turned into a Southerner. I'm debating canceling clients and also periodically check the school district website for updates on school closures for tomorrow ...

oops - whatever the right word is - I guess I'm a southerner now - we use "feels like" temperatures. I'm running on very little sleep and lots of caffeine...tech week - we open the play Thursday...

Hey...didn't someone post on the Boards somewhere that the announcement for the Med cruises was made on March 20th last year? If that's true (I was looking at my calendar) then that's the same day that we got a call from Inventory Control...
And since they're supposedly making an announcement on the 17th....then we might expect a call on the 17th, right??

I hate not knowing what they're doing.........
