Pass Vero collect 200 points? Then I got lots of them.

We stayed at Vero - but don't have Vero points - all of our points are at SSR. We enjoyed Vero - we were there in August and it was quite warm. There are nature trails, biking, great pool, nice town nearby with plenty of great places to eat....

I think it is very difficult to book the Beach cottages unless you own Vero points. Which apparently, not too many of us do. If you transfer points to Mary, they might turn into Vero points, but I would check on that first.

What's wrong with a big get together at WDW? You could all do your thing during the day, and have enough people for some Magical Gathering events at night. Like the Pirate cruise to watch Wishes, or maybe the dessert party. Or even a really big group dinner at CA Grille to watch Wishes!

And maybe, DCL will have some longer cruises in the Caribbean too.

I don't know what we will be doing summer '08. Maybe moving, but Kevin thinks it's too soon by a year. I tell him, think of all the tuition we would save if we're residents! (not to mention cruise discounts)

We would probably be game for Diana's suggestion as well. Since we have points at WDW, it would defitely be easy to get accomodations and save money on not having to pay hotels, etc. Still holding out for something special on the wonder

Well, gotta run and finished getting packed. Doing a last load of laundry and still haven't got my stuff packed yet. It has been a crazy night, didn't get away from work until 6. Started Weight Watchers last week and had to go and weigh in before I leave town (lostn 6 pounds, yeah!!). Unfortunately, health concerns dictate I lose some weight. Have discovered that I have high blood pressure and need to take care of that.

I will be taking my laptop with me to Midland this weekend because of some office work I have to do. Hopefully I can log on to the internet while we are there. Wish Ashley luck, hope she has a great meet and gets those drop in times she needs to qualify for the state meet.

I guess this is the weekend for competitions. Ashley is swimming and Lisa doing gymnastics.

We leave this afternoon for Baltimore for the beginning of gymnastics season.

We are having dinner Saturday night with Sue (dobielover), Liz, and Jeanne. Sunday and Monday we are going to try and get some touring of DC in. We have some old friends in the area that we will be getting with.

Matt and I may run a 20K in Georgetown on Saturday morning. Trying to get a little something in for everyone.

Nope for the 11 month window you can only use Vero points. Just transferring points to a Vero owner won't work (unless they are Vero points that are transferred).

The reason Vero was suggested was because Karen (OM) pointed out that on a 4 day cruise we wouldn't have as much down time where we could get together for things like just sitting around chatting, playing LRC, etc. I don't see the same opportunity if we all go to WDW after.

That would be my preference as well for the same reasons. I would rather have a little time relaxing as oppossed to rushing (which WDW tends to be for us). But, I am still "hoping" the Wonder does some longer cruises in 2008.
