Karen - love the picture of KT. I can't believe she already has braces off, and Ashley hasn't even started yet, they keep saying 6 more months.

Unfortunately, Ashley is noticing boys. You would think as busy as she is she wouldn't care, but she has definitely grown up. She has gotten even taller this summer. I will have to figure out how to post some pictures so you all can see them. Her track photo from school was awesome and then we got some great swimming pictures of her this summer.

We are having her 13th birthday party tomorrow at the bowling alley. 15 girls and they are just her swimming friends. Her actual birthday is on Saturday, Sept. 1, but because it is a holiday we alway have them before or after. The following Saturday, we are taking her and 3 friends from school out to dinner. Then that is it. No more big parties after turning a teenager.

Tomorrow is Emily's birthday and party. She's having a skating party. I'm sort of bummed that I won't be able to skate since I have this broken toe.

In Photobucket, there are some links underneath the thumbnail. Copy the one for Direct Link. Then here, click on the icon that looks like mountains & sun .. when you hover over it, it says "Insert Image". Take the URL that you copied & pasted it here. Be sure to get rid of the http:// that was already there in the input box.

Funny you should say that... just yesterday, I was working on a "Taste of the Town" event for January... someone had mentioned the idea of a western theme and using hay bales instead of renting bistro tables to save on costs... someone else quickly pointed out that its cheaper to rent tables than to get hay!!!!

Wow.. just logged in and went to 'last read'... can't believe I haven't been here all week!! But I have had the worst work-week I've ever had since I started here 4 years ago. I can't believe I have spent so much time and energy on one problem... I can't think about work for 1 more minute. Yes, I'm still at work, but sitting at my desk, doing some 'product testing' to make sure that what is coming in from Holland is fresh, and catching up on the DIS.

Pam... when did she grow up so much? She's a beauty! Great photo!!!!

Alicia has to have an operation for her ingrown toenail problem. Looks like she won't be able to dance for about a month. Not good when she's supposed to do ballet every day at school for a grade. Guess I should see if she can do something else that period for a while. I know - homework!

I really, really, really want a new camera. I don't really, really, really NEED a new camera though, so it isn't going to happen. I DID just get the newer Pentax Optio W30.....hee hee Virgil, one step ahead now!

But anyway, I digress. I was looking at the Nikon D40x...it's reasonably affordable. But then Canon has a new one out too. And besides....as I am reminded by my husband..there IS a difference between WANTS and NEEDS.
