Monica, what do you have in mind for 2008? I believe some of the ladies are planning the Panama cruise, don't have that in the budget. And I have promised Kevin and Alicia that they can go with me to Food & Wine in 2008.

Virgil, thanks for posting the pictures! Lauren is certainly growing and so pretty, was she in the teen club this time? I'm thinking she is 12. And will you have a picture of Sachin on disembark day?

Just thinking, thanks to Monica. Isn't it nice for some of us that have older kids and diverging interests, to have gained a group of like minded friends to travel with? We've already talked about how nice it is to travel with DIS friends who pay their own way and are easy to get along with (vs some of our friends and family that may not be so). Kevin has his own interests, and he doesn't really like to be told No. But for me, Monument Valley in the summer? NO thanks! A liveaboard cruise, sleeping in bunks in the hull? NO THANKS! But WDW in October when the weather is decent? Yes, please! I still go in the summer with the kid, but I can't say I enjoy it much due to heat and crowds (mostly the heat). And I figure I've got the right to enjoy it too. So thanks to the friends that will join me there, and make my trip that much more enjoyable!

Actually, we always invite Kevin along on our August trips, and he always declines, or has a different trip planned. Maybe he is smarter than me after all. Or maybe it's just Jim's fault.

If we could cruise every year we definitely would, and it is much more fun with family and DIS friends too. But the budget says short trips these days, and use DVC as much as possible. That's so much better than most people have to choose from, and it will do.

But it sure is fun to hear about all of your trips, especially those cruises! So please, keep those trip reports coming!

We're walking on cement, there's a huge hole in our family room wall and almost all of our furniture is piled elsewhere.

He brings home sample sizes of his photos from his trip with Kevin, to see what would look best on the wall after it's finished.
