My goal was to complete our trip around the world before Mark and Mary started their's - so this is early for today.

The last County (in as much as Peru was not open when we were there)

The Seafood Salad was ok. However, in order of yummiest, with the best first, Japan, Thailand, Florida and then New Zealand....I miss the green mussells from years back...Sam had the lamb and said it was good....How did I miss the Kiwi and Custard Roll?

And really let the side down on wines, I know we tasted more than I reported - so that just goes to show you, notes are a must when you indulge in this many tastings.....

Enjoyed an evening with girlfriend last night - we went shopping and to dinner - mostly to talk and catch up and to scoop out Christmas gifts - Had a wonderful time, but struck out on the gifts - Don't the gift companies know they are messing with my goal of completing everything early ths year

One more "afe Travels" for Mary and I am off for morning chores.

I just talked to a friend. She heard that High School Musical is coming to the Fox Theatre here in ATL. I didn't even know that it was a stage show. We're going to get tickets for our girls. It's some time in January. That'll make a great Christmas present for them. Check one thing off the list!

I've started my Christmas shopping. I always like to have it all boxed up and ready to go before Thanksgiving...but you knew that.....
All I have left to get are some small things for the great-nieces and nephews.

Not sure about my kids. They're getting a cruise, so I don't know if we'll get them something else or not.

Not sure about my kids. They're getting a cruise, so I don't know if we'll get them something else or not.

If that works for you, that's great. It wouldn't fly around here. The trip to WDW we are taking right before Christmas is just business as usual. Plus, she knows that I got an extra cruise this year (and a darn good one). She has a new way of notifying Santa this year, though. She adds stuff to my Ebay Watch List.

Thaks Kevin - that is the company I am dealing with....They discontinued the emerald green because one of her friends had such a suit and she looked laike a morray under water!!!!!!

We sent in measurements and yes, we flunked. Must retake several...and then we will call and discuss suit colors in more detail. Notice that Kevind did not chime in with an opinion....Sam's choice is black....Disboards, neon green....I may split the differences and go with alck with neon green accents....( a total neon green suit - I will look like a jelly bean!!!!) Not sure if I am that brave....we will see.

From Kevin's post it is clear he is not keeping up with us. There is not that much to read....I'm starting to wonder if Diana has him locked in the basement!

I told you how the measurements had to be done. Apparently you did not listen because you flunked! You have to be naked when doing the measurements!!!

My friend Sharon's husband had his second surgery yesterday for the brain tumor that they thought they had beaten last year. He was alert and talking, and the doctor says that it looks really good for him. A total miracle!
Finally some good news, after such a tough few weeks for them.

And.....my Dad finally met with the oncologist to go over the biopsy results of the spots on his lung. It isn't cancer...he has a treatable VIRUS!!
