I'm starting to get nervous about the '08 dates. There were some threads from TAs saying that their brochures only list dates through April '08.

But the other cruise lines haven't released their dates past April of '08 either... so it might just be an industry stall tactic

What's that saying about a friend will come and visit you in jail, but a true friend will sit next to you and say "Darn, that was fun!"
We'd be able to weed out our true friends.

Hey Mike - good article.....

I wonder how this will work in practice? I get the limitations for mass marketing licenced Happy Meals, but does this mean no Fish and Chips at Crose and Crown for kiddies? No ice cream for fear the little tykes will eat it 3 times a day - Uh - huh - to parental responsibility - preferably before vacation to encourage them to taste all sorts of ymmy things so they will try new food. Yeah, yea, I know, I am not a parent - but then our Diskids did try escargot on the ship so it can be done (We will not post the fat content of such delicious morsels however......)

On a related topice - "Fried Maccoroni and cheese?" Yup, a new appetizer at a local watering hole....

Go with color and not basic black. It is much easier to pick a buddy out of a group if there is some color.

"some color" - Maybe I can have neon green accents.....Stacey suggests a neon green as well......I am not sure I am quite "that bold". I'll chat to the lady today.

I vote neon green...without a doubt! Might as well be easily recognized by Sam and anyone else who wants to know where you are. And you're thin enough to get away with that. It's only us Pooh-sized people who need to wear your basic black!


And "my hero" removes the snakes, too. I only get close enough to take pictures...and not good ones, either!

Thanks for the compliament but trust me, having your hubby measure every inch of your body is not a good idea, esp. after Food and Wine.....We have a disagreement with the results!!!!

Mary, enjoy your 1st day of vacation. Although I guess it's a little hard to really enjoy when you're cleaning house. Have a great trip!

My mom & dad arrived last night. They are driving up to the GA mountains today to take a scenic drive & view the fall foliage. They will probably be spending a week with us.

Irene, I've been enjoying your menus. But, boy do they make me hungry. I know how you feel about the trifle. I won't order anything "cajun" in a restauraunt (unless of course it's in Louisiana). I don't want to be disappointed knowing I can make it better.

Mark and Mary, I sure hope you have a wonderful time on the member cruise. Sure wish I was on it with you.

It sure is making me antsy with all this talk about the 08 cruises. I am curious, how much more would it be for B2B cruises on the wonder instead of just a 7 day cruise??? At that point, it might just be better for us to do just a 4 day and then a couple of days at the parks. Money will be tight getting ready to send Dale off to college that summer. Now that is something I really don't want to think about yet.

Pam, I'm REALLY hoping that we can cruise with you again. Or meet up at WDW. KT and Nick went to the dentist this week (no cavities) and our dentist is a huge Disney fan (his hygenists said "if it was allowed, he'd be buried there!")

Anyway, Dr. Dentist was asking the kids about their last cruise and KT kept going on and on about how she cruised with her friends Ashley and Nicole from TX and how she was planning another cruise with Ashley.

True. I was forgetting that they were homeschooled. Mine didn't have them when they were your kids' age either. Not until middle school, and only to keep in contact with me. At least that was the idea. Jordan seems to think hers is an extension of her arm.

I really, really, really wanted the Paczki as we have them here for Lent and they are a real treat. Alas, no room for them in the tummy. Sam tried and he said they were a bit drier than what we were used to....This may be a case when what you normally eat is not "authentic" but it is for you. Second opinions appreciated.

How did I miss the honey wine? We did try the beer on the park trip with Jim and Sharon - very light....
