GOOD MORNING!

Another great day in Seattle... unfortunately, my last. Our meeting today was at the Redhook Brewery in Woodinsville. Amazing that they only have 4 people working their entire production line at a time. Lunch outside on their hillside cafe... unseasonably warm 78 again today... felt cool and dry to me by FL standards!!!!

Tonight, we took a ferry to Tillicum Village on Blake Island State Park for a native American baked salmon buffet and stage show. Kind of neat... but they could take a lesson or two in stage production from WDW. They do have the 'over-priced' part down pat though. (But, it was out of corporate's budget, not ours.)

Yesterday, we took in the Space Needle... (I can't even remember if I posted that or not... sorry if I did) and Pike's Market... what a great place!!

A few last beverages with friends, and now its off to get one last nights sleep in the world's most comfortable hotel bed... 5:30AM will be here way too early!!!!!

Karen - great trip report - thanks for sharing...Makes me want to take a trip out West again....Will you post pictures? popcorn::

That's it? I'm caught up already?

A sunset last night on the drive back to match the sunrise I had the morning before. Back home in time for a short trip north this am.

Sad news, yeserday...a friend is losing her battle with cancer (her second). We were hopeful she would beat it again, but is is not to be. Her husband moved her home last night after she was placed on morphine. They are such a devoted couple, I cannot imagine his pain. I can only hope she is no longer feeling hers.

Thank you so much. I heard this afternoon that she passed away at home this morning. I am glad she was able to be there and is now at peace.

Hi everyone, just got in. Haven't caught up on the thread, I am bone tired and getting sick, I think. Reality is harsh.

The cruise was absolutely WONDERful. And it wasn't just being in the suite, I really liked the Wonder. Great crew, recognized some former Magic crew, the entertainment was outstanding, and the food was the best I've had on a cruise. Tom McAlpin was on board the first four nights, but it was even good after he left. The Muppets appeared along with a crazy guy from "America's Got Talent", Susan Egan (Belle on Broadway, Megara in Hercules) put on an hour long show that was really beautiful, and the crew did a talent show in the WD theater, ending with the "if I was not upon the sea" skit. We had really nice weather the whole time, seas were fairly calm. Ate at Palo four times!

Will report more after I get some rest. My family did great without me, so now I'm thinking about where I can go next! :rotfl: Actually, Kevin did say that things were a bit hectic without me here, and I brought home gifts so I was welcomed back.

We saw Susan Egan on the DVC member cruise last year. She was great. Beautiful voice, some humor, some really great stories. My kids LOVE listening to her "Taylor the latte boy" and "Joshua Noveck"

Joshua Novek kissed me today like I've never been kissed before...... :)

U TOP with Diana, Susan, Taylor, and Joshua! :)

pdfg, Irene's friend, and Gma Lightbulb (who is awaiting testing for some things that have cropped up--not good things, from the sounds of it) and, of course, for anyone else who needs some pixiedust:

TGIF! Diana - nice to see you posting and glad you had a good time. We saw Susan Egan on the Member Cruise last year too and she was wonderful.

Glad that the ladies are back. Welcome to reality! Stacey, how's that foot doing? Did you keep the boot on?

Hope everyone has a great weekend. We'll have another busy one. Need to decide on a paint color for the exterior of the house this weekend. Bruce & I thought we had a greenish/tanish color picked but the painter tried to talk us out of it. He said that greens will fade fast. Not sure what to do. Think we'll be painted posterboards with a couple of colors this weekend to see what we like. I'll have to take before & after pics like OHMinnie did. Hopefully it will make a dramatic difference like theirs.

Geez, at least when I come to YOUR state I stay for longer than 24 hours!! :lmao: :lmao:

Nick's play opens the 26th. I'm SURE that Monday evening will be in the midst of tech week (lighting, audio, dress rehearsals, etc) Now, the question is, can I drop him off at rehearsal, meet with you, then get back in time to pick him up? Hmmm...guess we'll have to wait and see when it gets closer and I know his rehearsal times. Polaris is a great place to stay. Lots of good restaurants. Guess it will have to be a wait and see kinda thing.

Hey You Guyss!!!

Long time to talk/type!!

Been busy with life and other essentials. Glad to have the missus back, except she complains there is no one to unfold her napkin and place it on her lap......... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Back to work!! :wave2:
