Frances left early this morning - I had to have her to the airport at 6am. She made it to Orlando without incident - and wasn't detained by the TSA for trying to smuggle hand lotion on the flight.....

It will be interesting the next 12 days without here around. I think Lauren and I will survive.....

I have to work until 10pm tonight - so Lauren is playing at a friends...

Can't wait until WDW on Thursday night!

OM - tell KT that Lauren was quite jealous about her win - she can't wait to hear the details! Congrats to Nick!

What time to you get to the airport? You could ring our room at the Hyatt (we have a day room) and we could pop down and say "hi".

I wish you were not ending during the week. We would have loved to just pop down and say "hi", but no chance during the week.

Also, next time pick a better weekend to fly into town. We had to many things to come down and see you.

I just checked Lisa's email and she got it. We were out all day yesterday working for gymnastics.

Lisa'a gym "volunteers" to run concession stands at the Citrus Bowl and the money we make is split between the workers and goes into their travel fund. Matt, Sharon, and I spent the day cooking hotdogs and serving beer. I don't know if I will be able to eat another hotdog.

It was fun, but very tiring. The sad part was running out of bottled water and PowerAde by the 2nd quarter during a football game in Florida on a Saturday afternoon in 90 degree heat. People were miserable. The stadium did not plan well.

The sad part was running out of bottled water and PowerAde by the 2nd quarter during a football game in Florida on a Saturday afternoon in 90 degree heat. People were miserable. The stadium did not plan well.

But they didn't run out of BEER, did they?

Seriously, though... you would think that they'd have their forecasting down a little better... its not like 90 in September is out of the ordinary!!!

Sharon received a call soon after they boarded advising her that her sister had died. She's preparing to leave the ship and fly back to Phoenix. As it stands right now the other 4 are continuing their journey.... but with heavy hearts...

Very sad news indeed. I know Sharon was one of the cruisers who needed to "escape" from reality the most. Here is hoping for no more bad news and calm seas, blue skies, and a fun trip for the other 4 "cruising Mom's".
