What a wonderful Sunday - flat seas, diving with Sir Scuba and some great sites...

First Dive - turtles and more - second dive, a little disappointing due to the "&(*(**&%&^%%$$$*) that anchored on the tunnels, but still it is a good day to get wet.

Lots of fish, and coral, and the biggest pair of grouper I have ever seen !!!!!!!!

Sea turtles, teenagers and adults, hiding thier heads, ever everywhere.....and many morays....

lots more to report, but time to clean gear now.

Jim will be home soon.....

We're home! We had a fantastic weekend with the Ohio clan! GaRry we saw a number of potential doners on the way home but none of them made any stupid mistakes to qualify!

A quick recap of the weekend. For everyone but especially for Virgil:


We ate Cappy's pizza!

We visited Easton!

We visited the Apple store - but that was just to go to the bathroom!

Jim is home. The gear has been rinsed and is hung up.

I got a nice nap on the way home. A short 30 minute nap at the rest area made all the difference.

Irene, it was a pleasure sharing air with you. I look forward to it again.

Is anyone out there in the Savannah area? Megan is there right now (until next Sunday) and will be back for maybe a three month stay, job training, something to do with computers. Again, my family is never forthcoming with specifics. I just wish she were near someone I know, who could check on her. Is it pretty there?

Savannah is a beautiful city - it's the real "old" south - lots of charm and southern hospitality. I hope Megan will get the chance to do some of the tours while she's there (most are walking tours). No worries, Stacey. Thousands of Girl Scout troops visit each year as it's the birthplace of Juliette Lowe. Both my girls, Rachel & Tori, LOVE Savannah!!

No worries Stacey I am only about an hour away and Savannah is a great city. Lots of rain for the last week around here but has cooled it off greatly.
76 degrees in August in Charleston is unheard of usually. If Megan needs anything I will be on the way just let me know. Be glad to be sub mom if needed. Glad your dad is doing okay

Thank you, both of you...I feel better. She'll be enjoying the weather and the scenery, I'm sure. Maybe so much that I may lose her to that area. I guess it IS closer to WDW, isn't it?? Always have to look for that silver lining!

Savannah - it is nice. We have spent a few weekends there over the years. Not recently though......

Diana - Less than a month for your cruise, about this time we were saying "Are you packed yet". Not sure about the night of the 16th but will check as time gets closer....

Back to work today after our fun weekend. It was good to sleep in our own bed last night. The Holiday Express was nice but just not home.

The DVD works but there are a few files Mark has to take out because it would stop when it got to them. So we are almost there!

It's a thought, but I was thinking more along the lines of someone who is more familiar with the inner workings and finer points of Banfi-hauling.

Until they changed my meeting date on Friday, I WAS scheduled to be at the Airport on 9/16... but now my trip to Seattle has been pushed out another week...

Speaking of Lisa and Banfi - she had a project this week that included a photo collage (sp??) for "all about me". Matt was helping her select pictures and he told her she should use the picture Jim took of her "crying" over the Banfi Jim lost to Ray. I saw them on the computer with this picture and said "NOOOOO". I certainly don't need a teacher calling child protective services on me for that photo.

Well, Jim and Sharon, I know Saturday night the 16th is not one of your nights to be in Orlando. So we don't expect you to make yet another trip! But if you have any suggestions about a good place for our "emergency supply stop" on the way to the port, that would be appreciated. Someplace with Banfi!

And no, not packed yet. I still need another formal dress, that's a hard one. Seems like the stores here are only carrying prom dresses for juniors. And THAT isn't going to work.
