OK that was totally unexpected! :lmao: Logged on and saw it was at 48,997 so i posted that I couldn't resist. I guess it is easier to get a milestone when you don't try.

Good morning Monica - sorry to be a pirate:

Congrats on reply #49,000!

Hi all!

I've been away for a while ... well, away from posting but not from lurking!

Prayers & pixie dust to all those that need it!

Congrats to Mary & Monica on the milestone post & reply!

Hi Sue ... good to see you around here again.

Not sure where all of my time goes these days ... can't believe that school starts in 2 weeks from today. I'm going to have one UNHAPPY little girl on the 14th. At least she has her b-day to look forward to on the 25th. BTW, Happy Birthday to all those I missed the past few weeks.

Saw a friend this weekend that wants to book their first DCL cruise in '08. She said that she's constantly checking the DCL site to see if the dates are listed. I told her not worry, I'll let her know. Wish I could talk them in to going at the same time as us but they want to go in July.

Hi Everyone,

Remember me? Sorry I haven't posted much. It's been a very busy summer around here. My FIL is not doing well. It won't be long now. He's up in Syracuse with SIL and he's now starting to take Morphine. That's not good. He did make it to his 83rd B-day though. Outlived his father.

Any news that I missed worth repeating? Garry - how are you doing?

With camp and entertaining, this summer is really flying by. We went camping this past weekend, too. Very hot, muggy and had some rain to boot. Learned that platform camping is the way to go. First time for the kids. They liked it. First night we had some real jerks next to us. About 5 guys drinking and cursing worse than truck drivers. They stayed up until 2:30am playing the radio with this foreign signing. It was horrible. Went to the office the next morning and changed our campsite. The only thing with that...we had to breakdown and set-up camp 2 more times than necessary. Needless to say, Augie and I were dead the next day. All in all, it was nice to get away, but was great to get home to my bed and shower.

Well, I better get back to my housework and putting away all the camping stuff.

Chow for now...

Did someboday say MILESTONE???? Haven't seen one of THOSE in a while... better hurry before Lisa wakes up! (Or LISA, for that matter.)

As you can tell, no need to worry about Lisa. It's noon and she is still asleep in my office under the chairs.

I think she might just sleep through lunch.

Since she is not getting any work done she may have to come back later in the week.

Mary...congrats on post #49,000 !! Way to be the ultimate

Congrats Monica on reply 49,000 !!

I'm betting there will be a huge turn-out for post #50,000

So nice to see lots of people posting! We've missed you, Sue & Maria!

And you, too, gaRry!!

Going to the office for a bit and then taking Jordan to register at school. They start next Thursday, the 10th. Seemed like the longest summer in history to me.

Diana - While I was at my Conference at WDW last week, the majority of the exhibition hall was taken up by a Dance Conference sponsored by Dance Caravan. Is this a group Alicia has taken class from? I spoke to a woman from this group and they said they traveled all over the country giving class and sponsoring competitions. Just curious???

Um.... no... refresh my memory.

Oh yeah... now I remember... your DH wears a funky wig, and your kids think that cauliflower smells like feet. :rotfl2:

Elizabeth went to a (no)sleepover at a hotel on the beach on Saturday night... I came home from taking Christopher out to breakfast yesterday morning (around 10AM) to find her face down on the couch... I had to wake her for dinner at 6.

Next Monday morning's gonna be a tough one!!!! (Moreso for ME than her... I have to leave the house 90 minutes before she does!!!!)

Maria, prayers for your father-in-law...and sending pixie dust. :tink:

Dad's surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8th. I'll be flying up there on Monday the 7th, returning on Thursday the 17th.

So what have you been doing to that poor child? Of course, she might actually be growing!

Not familiar with that one, Sharon, guess they don't come to Albuquerque. We get about five of them a year. The one at DL was sponsored by Showcase Productions, and called Dance the Magic.
