Good Morning All......Up early - more travel...will need to check on what you have been up to yesterday.
We went diving - flat seeas, but.....sip, sip, sip...
What was that....
that was the reef....
really....
To say the least - strong current.
First dive was "shark dive" so called because you can almost always see sharks there. We had to swim to get to the reef, and then it was lay back and relax....I had my camerra and it was working this time, so we will see what blurs I managed to capture. Sam and I were back behind the group. We saw what I think wre reef sharks, sleek, black tips. The vis was not good, but we had loads of fish. No eels this trip, no lobsters....all hiding or in the pot! I was having a great time, wathing my N levles as it was a deep dive and then, wait, how did I get from 1200 to 700????? O ring leak... Sam could tell so he tried to tighten up the reg. Having folk climb on your back in 70 feet of waer is very strange...Anyway, surfaced just fine, with safety stop and waited for the boat....
Second dive was yelowtial. That is the old river bed...And if you thought the last dive was fast, this was a roller coaster.....Two of the guys had full face masks, strange....But this joy of this dive were the turtles....at the end of the dive...Surfacing was different - we went up at a 10-20 degree angle....so you could still see the reef and fish, and the turtles for a long time on the ascent.
Downside of the dive, I was tired and crashed as soon as we got the gear soaking....
