Just found out an important lesson.

If you are shredding old credit card statements and offers for new credit cards, and if the cat comes over to investigate the process......

DO NOT touch the cat!!!!!!!!!! He about jumped 3 feet straight up into the air and flipped around a couple of times. Too funny!! In fact, so funny, I had to do it again. And again. And again!! The bad part is, I ran out of stuff to shred.

Now he's just sitting on my desk staring down at the shredder waiting for something to happen.

Haven't laughed so hard in a long time!!!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one with an evil streak! The dog does that too. And when no one is around, he'll paw at the shredder....trying to pick a fight, maybe?

Ohhhhh - we're REALLY slipping

How's everyone doing, heat-wise? Atlanta is about the last place I want to be right now. HOT, STAGNANT AIR - 12th day in a row of CODE RED SMOG ALERT and I'm really feeling it.

OMG - just found us on page 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, been busy. Our basement used to be so cluttered you could only walk through a small path carved out in the middle of the junk. Now it is (almost) completely cleaned up and Mike's computer desk is down there, all of our exercise equipment is easily accessible.

Only problem is, we found THIS in the process. Any ideas?? (had to tear out the (?)press board wall to find it.)

LOOOOONG DAY!

But it feels great to be finally getting things done...other than baseball.

Took the Yukon XL in so that they could fix the problem I had that night. Got a loaner car..a Chevy Malibu. I'd been thinking I'd like to trade one of my SUV's for a car, but I know it won't be a Malibu. Fun to drive, but not very comfortable.

Took Jared to the eye doc to try a second pair of contacts.

Went to the dentist to have the molds made and pick out my new teeth. That seems funny.

Anyway, my Yukon won't be done until tomorrow, so at least I don't have to go back out tonight. It's HOT, around 110° and that Malibu doesn't have tinted windows.

So staying in and trying not to melt. Wish I had a good movie to watch.

This looks like fun!!

Yeah, nasty, huh? And I wonder why Mark and Mary don't want to stay here when they head this way!!

Actually, we have mouse and rat poison around from some company, so I'm guessing this is old. I mean, SERIOUSLY I can't REMEMBER the last time I vacuumed the BACK part of my basement (that's how I found it....the vacuum hit the wall and little bits of this stuff fell out the bottom)

He says the ppl who get worked up about his columns are going to be the ones most likely to read them! He's absolutely fine with bad feedback. I told him if I got back feedback I'd probably cry about it. His attitude is "whatever."
