We're out of here, heading to the airport in an hour. Off to DL and the heat. Will have to find out if the Scubas find Matt when I get home. Or maybe Kevin will keep me informed.

MATTHEW UPDATE:

We are in Salt Lake and still have not talk to Matt since early last night.

According to Alaska Air Matt has made it into Seattle and is checked in for the next flight.

It looks like we will meet him in Anchorage.

Mom is doing well and hanging in there. Now she has something to look forward to!!!

Did you fly Alaska Air, too? I've heard that they are a great airline... I'm probably using them to get to Seattle in Sept... they are one of the few non-stops from MCO to Seattle... let me know what you think of them.

Have a great trip! You aren't missing anything here... except its getting hotter by the minute. We'll be up around Stacey's temps pretty soon if this keeps up. Gotta love it, though!

Excessive heat warning in effect. What's wrong with them...it's only 111°!



And we leave in less than an hour to go sit outside for three and a half hours.

I found out what's really wrong with my Yukon XL. I was going through a pile of old mail and found a recall notice. Oops.

Something to do with the fuel module something or another. Wires shorting out, causing the fuel pump fuse to blow. Worst case scenario, fire. Double oops.

Guess I'll have to skip the dentist and the doctor appointments next week and get the car to the dealer PRONTO.

I don't know how you do it, Stacey. I *melt* when we're in the high 90's! You did make our local news - they advised us about your heat alert - maybe to make us feel better? I dunno.

We have him. He made it into Anchorage just about an hour after we did. Still have not heard all the stories so we will have to share them later.

We are off to dinner to talk and will post later.
