sorry to barge in guys, but I was just wondering if any of you were having any luck getting your hands on a nintendo wii system??? LOL Then my CJ tells me that he would like to have one....

Mike heard the news reports and he said he wasn't interested in a PS3 or Wii, they were too much money...

They aren't happening in this house Didn't even consider it - I'm trying to get him to play less electronics - I figure it's a hefty portion of a cruise down payment - gee honey I just saved us $400+ - can I book our do-over with the money we've saved?

Debating on the refurbished iPods, though. If so, that'll be our entire Christmas budget - we don't go all out at Christmas - John and I don't need anything - so, we usually just allocate it into the kids' portion while getting something small for each other to open. We would rather do one nicer present for the kids or a family gift. MIL usually has the lots of little things angle covered - so, they will still have plenty open.

Of course,(hopefully) Santa won't forget his traditional gifts of pjs, toothpaste, toothbrush, socks, M&Ms, lifesavers storybooks, and the little single serve boxes of sugared cereal.

Matt and I talked about these at dinner tonight. He says people from his school are returning them. They are not worth the money. The graphics run much slower then the older models. Not a big improvement, more features that make it worth the money.

Hi - Lady Poo - wow - almost time for another cruise...YEAH. FYI - we framed Stitch - thanks again, and included a High Seas pin. AND we are taking a 3 day pre-Crhistmas Cruise. We can't wave to you because we disembark on the 24th from the Wonder while you embark on the 26th - but we will think of you.....

Things not to teach your children....#1 - Put up Christmas Lights while raining. #2 - Climb to the top step of the ladder to put up Christmas lights when ladder is not stable. #3 - Twist and pull neck while putting up Christmas Lights. #4 - Put up Christmas Lights in the Dark #5 Repeat #1-4 for 3 nights in a row because it rained on the weekend....

Guess what I have been (trying) to do.....I think there may be a little less glow this year outside our house. And we do need to rain, we are in a water shortage...mus keep reminding myself..

Waaah.... one more DIS family planning a holiday cruise... though the good news is at least we are now starting to TALK about actually getting our new kitchen.
(If you remember, that was the reason I got for not being able to do the 21-24th cruise).... gotta pay off a few other things, then we'll get going on the kitchen.

Of course, we got a lot of 'inspiration' (OK...maybe it was a bit of envy ) seeing my BIL's $50,000 kitchen remodel last week. Ours won't involve any major construction (or the appliances that he got, unfortunately), so it should only end up about the cost of one or two cruises, not 10.

Mary & Mark- stay warm and stay safe... I miss snow for about one minute this time of year... then I watch the news, think of you guys freezing, and head for the beach.

Yes! Since the Magic is doing a 10 day Christmas cruise there needs to be a 4 day to get it back into it's regular rotation.

To all of your up north, stay warm & safe! Got a call from a co-worker in San Fran area this morning. She said that they are freezing. It's rainy & dreary here today. Temps should cool off some tomorrow.

Ladypoo, have fun on the after-Christmas cruise. Sounds like fun!

Diana, my brother sold 2 PS 3s on ebay last week. He walked in to Wal-mart one day & picked up 2. I think he made about $200 each on them. It doesn't seem fair to the poor mom's & dad's out there just wanting to get a gift & having to pay "scalpers'.

This is the cruise that got us hooked - except then, the Magic did the 4 day turn around on January 2 or 3rd in 2005......WOW...and this Christmas will be our 3rd since then...
