I had no idea who Matthew Fox was. After seeing Diana's original post about it, I *assumed* that he was the young stud brother to the pedicure girl (Boone, I think his name is.) But I just googled Matthew Fox and it's the doctor. Hmmmm...

He's a fox, alrighty.

Thanks for the warm welcome back! :grouphug: Ok, I'm gonna commit us - no not to the State Hospital - to this cruise whenever it might be! Haven't talked with Dennis yet, but I know he will be excited to see good friends again.

Just wait. He gets darker, and broodier, and his voice gets lower as the series goes along. I haven't figured out that last one yet, do you think they do polls? "What do you think of Matthew Fox's voice?"

Hey Scuba... I just heard that VIP has had a bordadella (sp?) outbreak this past week that they are *denying*... my neighbors dog just spent 2 days at the vet (after their 5 day cruise)... the vet guessed where the dog had been before they even told him... eek... is Molly staying there while you're in AK? Hopefully they're germ free by then!

Thanks for the update. I had not heard of this. Yes, Molly and Mickey were planning on staying there.

I may call our Vet to see if she heard of anything happening there.

We can have dueling keyboards then! Everyone at work is amazed at how fast I type and don't have to look at the keyboard. I took typing in high school then worked as a secretary at my uncle's architecture firm in college. My high school typing teacher "hated" our class. It was a class full of band students. He said that they always typed the fastest so we all had lots of free time, which got us in to trouble.

Good luck with your surgery. :wizard:

Ang

Hmm, maybe you're on to something there. I was a band student also- clarinet.. that requires movement of fingers (ofcourse) so I wonder if that has something to do with it?

Oh and btw- y'all are on... it's ON! Deuling keyboards competition is on. LOL

Thanks (about surgery- yes I'm still up. A nightowl canNOT change that especially when they are having surgery oh in about 7.5hrs. *sigh* As if I can relax more than usual and go to bed earlier than usual? Ohwell- I'll be sleeping tomorrow during surgery and afterwards with some good drugs. :rotfl: )

oooh- top with Ang, dueling keyboards, etc. :)

I also took typing in high school. I can't imagine having to look at the keyboard to type. I worked as an assistant to the assistant to the head librarian in college (work-equity) so typed a lot there. Now I type fast, but make more mistakes. I try to type as fast as I can think, but that doesn't work. At least I can hit the backspace key without looking! :) :lmao:

LOL!! Oh yes, I can do backspace and correction in a blink of an eye- because I can't stand things spelled incorrectly. Doesn't bother me when someone else does it- just bothers me when I do it. I have OCD sometimes. LOL

Btw, Shelley, good luck with your surgery!!

I always ask my surgeons and anesthesiologists (sp?) one question before they start my surgery "did you get a good night's sleep last night?"

My dad always asks them his question....he says "how was the party last night?" if they say "what party?" he says "good, that's the answer I wanted to hear!" :lmao: :lmao:

Oh that's good! I'll have to try that party one on my doctor in the morning. He'll get a kick out of it (and he better answer correctly LOL)

Good Morning All - Good Morning Jim - sent you a pm.

Hope you all have a great holiday weekend....We are taking some time off today. If nothing else, I need a mental health day away from the office.

Some pixie dust and prayers needed for Best Friend - who is undergoing tests....

They do... but supposedly its like a flu shot... there are resistant strains...

We are really careful with our dog, as Greyhounds are very susceptible to it because of their increased lung capacity... since she retired, she has only been kennelled twice in the 5 years that we've had her.

Once again caught by reading poss backards - a resisent strain - poor puppies..

Shelly, will be thinking of you tomorrow. Best of luck!

Irene!! And anyone else interested in the Food & Wine trip: I was talking about November 2007, not 2006. I can't go in November after going on the cruise in September. Now, if someone else wants to arrange a get-together for this November, please feel free! But you'd better book rooms quick!

oooh, well, miss a post or two and you get your name in CAPS....ok - food and Wine in 2007 it is......thanks......This November would be pushing it fr use as we have a dive trip planned, but as stated oftern, we are spoiled.....only 2.5 hours away....

Well, you know it IS on ABC, and ABC IS a Disney company and Disney IS research happy, so maybe that's it.

Or the actor went through puberty mid season. :confused3

Everyone else still sleepin......

Better get Stitch to wake you all up!

Everytime at Disney we comment on the Stitch and Mickey wake up calls. Wouldn't it be cool if you could buy into that service and get wake up calls every day from Mickey?????

(in my best Mickey voice)
"up and at'um. Lots of stuff to do today. You're working in a job you hate, but you have to stay in b/c you need the money to come see me. Kitchen is a wreck and needs a good scrubbing. Oh, and the litter box is full. Get yourself out of bed already!!!!!"

:tinker:Good morning cruisers :tinker:

Happy Friday!

Pixie dust to all that need it.
Here's hoping that things dry up in the Northeast.
