I'm still here too.... Back at work... Flew in from DC at 350pm and work started at 5pm....

Hope everybody is having a great day..... Frances and Kristin went shopping today for business clothes for Kristin.... All I heard was I need to put money in the checking account.... great...

I guess I'll pack on Friday....

As long as I'm on the ship - at this point that is all that matters....

My mom came home today!!!!!
She wishes you all a fun filled and magical vacation. I guess we will talk to you all when you get back. We will wave from our porch when you leave port.

I was thinking about her a lot today and hoping and praying she got to come home!! Yippie!!!!!

Pixie dust for Mowana - just remember "this too shall pass" and we'll be cruisin' soon!!! Here's hoping the needle will indeed pass - I'm sure a return trip to the vet will be the last thing you want to add to your list before leaving.

Now if it was one of your kids - I'd definitely have said - just wait.... wasn't too sure about a cat - glad it looks like it'll be fine..... It's amazing what can pass through the digestive tract....

Yes. That's what we thought too....a kid has a much bigger tract.

The vet did bring the x-ray in and said "if this animal was a labrador, this wouldn't be such a big deal." guess they eat EVERYTHING!!!

I did tell the kids if he died, I would dedicate the Christmas fairy piece to Mowana (the one he stole the needle from!) They weren't so happy about that!

Hey...where is everybody? Getting ready to take Jared to his game.

Jordan went with Amber to get her (Amber's) nails done. Amber's Mom sent her signed permission forms and insurance info. One more thing to check off the list.

Got my backpack ready....it's what I use on the plane instead of a purse.

I'm sitting here having trouble typing b/c I'm laughing so hard!!!

Ok, the main difference is....
Mowana ATE the needle and therefore has to poop it out....

Hmmm....I better ask Mike if he's been snacking on the litter.

Oh boy oh boy, I'm a bit afraid of the potential door magnets that might show up about this!!!

OH NO!!!!! WHY in heavens name would the cat EAT a needle??? I thought cats were supposed to be clever!! Poor baby!

Well, we are finding out that he's not the brightest cat in the litter!!

The one vet (the one heck-bent on surgery) did say 9 out of 10 cats in this situation will need emergency surgery. But....Mowana is one that beats the odds....after all 99 out of 100 cats can jump up on a shelf without knocking everything off of it....Mowana is that 1 in 100 that will devestate the place!!!

FYI - you can do Hold Mail on line. Just go to the USPS website and fill out the form. Quick and easy.l

Yup, and in my case they started holding the mail a week too early!! If I wasn't expecting bills to come in that needed to be paid, I'd have just left it held....but alas, Sprint and National City want their money on time for some reason!
