did a google search for the word KUK....

"Kuk" is in the Swedish and Norwegian languages an obscene word meaning (edited out male body part) Funnily enough, in Danish "kuk" generally means mess or "Lundestad".
Now, I thought I read that Afrikaans is an offshoot of Danish...so maybe we're looking more towards "mess"...

but it still doesn't make a lot of sense.

So maybe I'd be asking him for a roll in the hay?????

One more thing, and then I really am leaving....

I may have made a mistake today (yes, only one!).....
I took my Double Scoop shirt to the seamstress to be shortened. I have to buy them big to fit...but then they're as long as a dress. Can't tuck all that material in....But I sure hope it's done by the end of next week!

So here it is Tuesday night... T minus how many and counting... Ray is in the islands (lucky him), its raining here (finally), and I SHOULD be packing... but instead, I am sitting here, adding MORE songs to my Ipod and DISing...

We all KNOW that DISing IS vacation-planning related, and I guess the 626 songs that are already on there aren't enough for one week away from home... after all, I've got room for 374 more!!!! Gotta have ALL my musical options with me... I might need them to get to sleep, as our stateroom is on the 'noisy' list... (wait til they here my 3 roomies snoring... they ain't heard nothing yet!)

No problem! I usually don't pack our suitcases until the day/night before we leave. Either I don't have time, need the clothes, or haven't finished the laundry. Whatever... I'm sure all your stuff will find its way into the right bags before you run out the door.

And 2 1/2 days! I'm jealous!!!!

Ah... Tuesday night. CRAZY day at work (that's what I get for not going in yesterday!). Got home to a nutty 5 year old and a frazzled DH (no need to point out his age ) just about at the end of his rope. But waiting for me was a package with the three books I ordered for the trip! Now I just have to decide which I can start now and which I want to save for the high seas. Hmmm...

Watched AI (ooh... tomorrow night will be interesting! Tough choices!). Now it's time for House. Just 3 more days of work, and then I can start concentrating on getting ready for this trip! Yeah!!!!!

Afrikaans is an offshoot of Dutch, in 1820 the dutch settled in South Africa and it has a couple of German words too.
Kuk is Sh!t/poop etc.

DS's team played there first game of the playoffs and they won by one!!! He will miss the game on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday as we will be in FL.
Hope they win some of those.

Hi everybody! I haven't been on here in a very long time, and wow, we have only 11 more days until we leave! I am so excited! I was just looking at excursion options, and was wondering if anyone had any insight on any of them? My dh really wants to go see some Mayan ruins, so we were thinking of doing the Kuhlonich (or whatever it is) tour at Costa Maya. Is anyone else doing any excursions there? Or do you know anything about them? Thanks for your help!
