Okay, I know National Car Rental doesn't have a transfer bus from the port. We have decided to go house hunting after the cruise, what a way to dampen our cruise high...So, we need to rent a car in Port Canaveral and return it to the Atlanta airport. National was $150 cheaper than the others, so I picked them.

After the saga...what's the best way for my husband to go pick up our car at National Car Rental on N. Atlantic Hwy in Cocoa Beach?

Well, it didn't take me too long to catch up......

We had a kind of freak thunderstorm go through this afternoon. Jared's ball game was cancelled. I couldn't get online with DSL because of it....and dial up is just too slow anymore.

We went to grab a quick bite to eat, rushed back for AI and House.

Tough choice on AI. They each have fantastic voices, and each have done some amazing songs and some pretty "bad" songs.
Boy, Simon was sure in a jolly mood, huh??

So, I did get one cruise-related thing done today. And it darn near gave me a headache.
I figured out the cash we'll need...with tip envelopes, luggage tipping, drivers, cabs, excursions, shopping money, etc.
Went to the bank and drove the poor teller nuts. Actually, I was really good, I had a list written out:
Three $100 bills....$300
Two $50 bills....$100
And so on.....
But it was a "Teller in Training"...so she didn't have a "full" cash drawer. After buying from another teller twice, they finally took her to the vault for more.

I still need to divide it all up into the separate envelopes, but I have a cheat sheet, so it shouldn't be too bad. I'll have about 13 different envelopes all together.
At least none of them are LAMINATED.

Tomorrow we'll be doing the SINGLE DIGIT DANCE....9 days till we leave..and as far as I'm concerned, that's when vacation starts!!!

I stoped by the Disney Store today (just happened to be driving by the mall ) Anyway, they had the amazing red tropicl outfits with Mickhead patches. I picked up DH a shirt and a skirt for me!!!! Score

Hi everybody! I haven't been on here in a very long time, and wow, we have only 11 more days until we leave! I am so excited! I was just looking at excursion options, and was wondering if anyone had any insight on any of them? My dh really wants to go see some Mayan ruins, so we were thinking of doing the Kuhlonich (or whatever it is) tour at Costa Maya. Is anyone else doing any excursions there? Or do you know anything about them? Thanks for your help!

Not this is just unfair....one of my favourite mystery authors has a new book....I want it for the cruise....the hardback is out....the paperback is due out July 25, 2006......now this is just unfair.......or should I break down and get the hard cover.....Suggestions please?????
