5/10/09 -- A "WONDER"ful cruise w/the Pod Squad!!!

Hi Jen! Thank you so much! We didn't book with DU. My husband jumped the gun (from excitement) and booked directly with Disney Cruise Line w/o me knowing. It's our first time, so I'm sure our next one will be with DU.

We are not staying on property prior to the cruise. We are flying in that morning from Houston - CAN'T WAIT! Last night, I had my first sleepless night thinking about the cruise. Ever had that happen?? HAHA!

Also, I left a post on the fish extender thread. I'd like to added to the list!

It looks like there are a couple of us that weren't able to book through DU. We are using DVC points for the cruise. I'm sure we will all have a wonderful time. This is our 4th DCL cruise and we find that we usually only make it to the first meet on a cruise anyway. We are usually too busy doing cruise activites or lounging by the pool. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!

Unfortunately the meets will probably be all through the Podcast and DU. So I doubt if there will be any other DIS Meets on this cruise. Since I didn't pay for the cruise through DU (Dreams Unlimited) I won't be able to participate in any of their events. If you are able to transfer your reservation to DU, then you will need to check out the Podcast blogs to get a line up of meets. Otherwise I'm afraid that you won't be invited to any DIS events on this cruise. Maybe we'll cross paths on the cruise. Have a great time!

I am another one who is sad to be missing out on all of the big fun with the Podcast group....

We are brand new to the DIS & didn't know anything about it when we booked our cruise directly on DCL.com and paid it in full.

I am so jealous of what I have heard/read about so far (stateroom gifts, in suite reception).

My DH & I will get a giggle out of witnessing all of your craziness.
