We are going to WDW for the weekend from July 2nd through the 4th. I'm considering going to the parks without a bag or a stroller. I've seen the bag check lines, and I don't have any interest in dealing with that for one of the busiest weekends of the year.
Our group consists of me, DH, DD(10), and DD(4). Younger DD has been reliably potty trained for over a year, and has been to WDW twice since she was potty trained with no issues. She does tend to spill, so stained outfits are a possibility. We are staying at YC and only plan to do EP and maybe HS this trip. I figure I could run back to the hotel for a new outfit if there were a fashion emergency.
In terms of the stroller, we don't plan to do a ton of time in the parks. We have FPs for our must-dos (although still waiting impatiently for FEA), but I don't think we'll spend more than a few hours in the parks each day. We plan to do quite a bit of time at SAB. DH can carry DD on his shoulders if she gets tired, and we can rent a stroller if needed.
We'll be doing the DVC dessert party at the Contemporary on the 3rd, so we'll be able to bring a bag along to that.
Has anyone gone stroller and bagless with a smaller child? Did you regret it or was it worth it to skip the lines?
