4th of July Fireworks dinner at Cali Grill??

Has anyone heard if they have announced a party at the California Grill for Wishes on the 4th?? I heard they had a special dinner/party in the past. tia

Nobody?? I'm really hoping the answer is no because I have a CG adr for that night and I'm not paying $200 a person for them. Haven't heard from Disney about cancelling my adr either. So far, good news!

We have an ADR for that night. No cancellation call or email, yet. So far, so good.

That makes 3 of us. I made a back up ADR for the 3rd, but I'd really like to cancel it if there is not going to be a special (and expensive) party on the 4th itself. Seems like there should have been an announcement by now since its less than 40 days away.

I also think it would have been announced by now (unless it will be a private party and they are awaiting booking confirmation - but still, it's pretty close).
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!!!

Just wanted to let you all know, today I decided to call Disney Dining personally to double check on this issue. I was told there is no special dining event for 7/4 at Cali Grill and that my ADR is intact. She was also able to modify my reservation and change it to 3 people instead of 4. She mentioned that we would have been charged for the 4th person if we hadn't made the change. So glad I asked!

I'm very happy this all worked out. We are staying at Bay Lake Tower and I have an aversion to huge crowds - had the whole day planned as a non-park day and I would have been so disappointed if my dinner plans had fallen thru. (I did have a back-up ADR at Kona, and we would have gone to the TOTWL afterwards to see the fireworks. But I really had my heart set on CG!)
