Notable because in recent years they have only ran the normal nighttime show. Since the new one isn't quite ready it looks like they are doing a special fireworks show and some more this year.

- Universal Studios Florida will feature special entertainment on July 4th starting at 5 p.m. to celebrate Independence Day. The Music Plaza stage will feature award-winning DJ M-Squared spinning top hits on the ones and twos, and a live performance by the high-energy band, Raydio. Plus, you’ll be able to meet some of your favorite Universal characters so make sure to have your camera ready.
And what’s a 4th of July celebration without amazing pyrotechnics to cap off your night?
Plus, all of your favorite Universal Studios attractions will be open for you to enjoy (I’ll be on Men in Black: Alien Attack trying to max out my score).
The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. and will continue until park close at 10 p.m. Access to the celebration is included in admission to Universal Studios Florida or with a park-to-park ticket. Here’s the schedule of events, which will all take place at the Music Plaza stage:
- Live Music featuring Raydio: 5 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 8:15 p.m.
- DJ M-Squared: 5:45 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 9 p.m.
- Character Dance Party: 6:15 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Pyrotechnic Display: 9 p.m.
