I'll vote for that! ;)

Pink is good! I'm all for pink...in fact my attempt at fulfilling the tye die t-shirt this year was a hot pink - mildly tie die - Mickey t-shirt. I could wear that t-shirt three times and have three days covered. Wow! :cool1: I'm saving money now!

:rotfl: I love the way you think! We should all pack that light. :thumbsup2

Hey Ladies!! I'm so excited. I currently have an AP for both DLR and WDW and just found out that I'll automatically be upgraded to the new Premier Passport!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:
The best part is that my DLR premium was set to expire at the end of May - but they make the new passport for the later date which will be the end of January. 8 free months!! If only it wasn't so expensive to fly to WDW. :sad2:

Hello,

Just wanted to share that those of you with an iPhone or iPod Touch, there is a free app called Mouse Wait. It's really awesome- it has DL and DCA wait times for rides and it also shows you food menus, hours and events for the park, Disneyland Secrets, Mouse Wait Tips & Updates, Hidden Mickey Checklist, Live Disneyland Webcams, weather for Anaheim. It's really cool :yay:

The sun is shining here too, but it is FREEZING outside! Seriously, I am so, so SO ready for it to get warm again. Winter has never lasted this long in Vegas before and I am over it!

Anyhow, my happy thought of the day is that we survived yet another round of budget cuts yesterday and that I will be at WDW exactly 2 months from now

Yay for keeping your job and going to WDW!!!!

Glad you're feeling better, Capri! :goodvibes

I think we should all splurge and stay at DGCV next year. . . hey it's early enough to DREAM BIG! :lmao:
And Bangladesh could totally fit 15 gals in that room.:crowded::crowded::crowded::crowded:

Just cuz I think everyone needs a quick reminder of the TRUE MAGIC that happens on these trips, I feel the need to repost this:

heaven.jpg

It was a very magical time!

ME TOO! I haven't even had breakfast yet. Not that I couldn't stand to skip a few meals. LOL

Well...........since you mention it.......... uh, well, see..... I was kinda sorta hoping that maybe, just maybe we could have a pink shirt day? Can we? Huh? Huh? Can we mom, puuuhhhleeeeeze?? I'll be good, I swear.
And there are many shades of pink......we don't all have to wear a baby pastel pink. There's hot pink for hot Divas!

Okay, okay. I know it was mentioned before and shot down pretty quick, so it probably won't happen this time either, but ya can't blame a girl for trying.... ;)

I never, ever, ever wear pink. However, I somehow ended up with a pink tie dye shirt. I actually didn't mind it, and would probably be up for a pink shirt. :thumbsup2

What if we also have a Mickey t-shirt day? Any color as long as Mickey is prominently featured on the shirt?

or your favorite Character day? (I have this Little Green Men shirt I custom-made at WDW that I'd love to wear!)

I would like a favorite character day. That way Callie and I can wear our matching shirts, and you all can wear whatever you want!

Pink is my faaavorite!!
Shocking! :rotfl:

Ooooh, that sounds nice.....but I think I'll be over at the DCA, drink in hand, staking out a fantastic spot to watch World of Color. :goodvibes

Oh wait, that won't be necessary because Callie and I will be able to watch WOC every night from our DVC room at the Grand Californian that we're splurging on. :rotfl:

How do I get in on that?

Yikes! Sorry to hear about that. Hmm...I'm sure your neighbor is feeling quite inadaquate without a longer hose?!

Funny girl!

I used this app when we were there in December and the wait times were really close to being accurate almost all of the time.

Sounds like it's time to start planning a trip!

BOOOOOOOOO for budget cuts! :sad2:

But your WDW trip sounds like SO much fun!!! I hope you all have a fantastic time! So, what resort are you staying at? Any special plans while you are there? :hyper:

Good morning ladies!!!

It's cold but beautiful here ... can't wait for spring!! Hope you all enjoy your day. :thumbsup2

Jane, how exciting to be going to WDW ! I miss that place! Are you writing a pretrip report or trip report on it?

anyone else find it a bit comical that we are reduced to chatting about the weather? It's cloudy here with a chance of meatballs. :upsidedow

Jane, glad to hear that you made it through the budget cuts unscathed. I'm sure you'll have a blast in WDW!

We are doing 9 days and 8 nights at Port Orleans French Quarter.

We haven't bought our tickets yet, but the plan is to leave late on May 8th and fly back in the late afternoon/evening of May 17th. Dave has to be at his college's graduation ceremony that starts at 7pm on the 8th night, so we are looking to do the red eye thing.

On Mother's Day we have ressies at the Cinderella Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare (hopefully a chocolate slipper will be making an appearance)--mommy's choice and the guys will just have to deal. It's my day!

Monday is Magic Kingdom with Kona (my fave) for dinner. Ty is getting his first haircut/trim at the barbershop on Main Street. We also are going to a special Triple A members only Storytime Event that afternoon.

Tuesday is Epcot and we are going to lunch at Les Chefs de France to see Remy.

Wednesday is DHS. We have a Hollywood & Vine Playhouse Disney breakfast ressie that we may or may not keep. We also have the F! package at Mama Melrose that night.

Thursday is AK, starting with the Donald Breakfast Safari. We're going to Ohana for dinner that night.

Friday is whatever we want during the day and dinner at Teppan Edo that night.

Saturday is back to the MK, breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at Ohana and dinner at Crystal Palace.

Sunday is also a free day with dinner at Le Cellier (Dave's fave).

Monday we are looking at leaving late afternoon, so we'll probably hit AK for a little while before heading to the airport.

I am just excited that we are really going as there have been a whole lot of things lately that have made me feel like we might have to cancel. But, it looks like it's going to come together after all!!!

Wow! That is awesome! You are going to have to let me know how POFQ was. I'm considering it for our November trip.

Hey all, I'm feeling sooo much better today :).

I'm down for a pink shirt. I can't remember the last time I wore pink, but I love pink.

I like pink.

I  LOVE Pink!!!! Remember ladies it is the color for Breast Cancer Awareness!!!! (trying to help sway the pink idea Beth!! :rolleyes1 ) :lmao:

I like pink too! I rarely wear it, because I don't own much of it, but I like it. haha In my defense, I've only recently discovered that I'm ok with, and look okay in, pink.

Me too - think pink :lovestruc

No teasin, for reals! Pink is cute.

Bling and sparkles???? I'm so IN with that :hyper:

I would LOVE a pink shirt day!

I think you could handle the Mummy. It's not any worse than Space Mountain, except it has a launch start. The launch is not even close to being as fast as Screamin' over California. It's a much easier, slower launch, and then the actual ride is just some fun turns and dips in the dark with images from the Mummy flying by. No loops, or big drops or anything scary. I would hold your hand if you want. :thumbsup2

Jurrassic Park isn't really scary either. The drop, which is the only thrill on the ride, didn't scare me like the drop on Splash.....and I didn't get that tummy tickle that I would normally get. I don't know why. Maybe because it's in the dark and it's not as steep? :confused3

I remember when the ET ride was where Mummy is now. I always liked for ET would say your name at the end. :thumbsup2

Dearest AmywhohatespinkOkraSue,
Don't think Pink -- Think Magenta! (is that any better?)
I personally choose HOT pink, because that's how I roll.

Hope your week gets better.
Hugs

Oh Amy, everything is O-Tay!:lovestruc
Especially since we have dates planned now.
And you are going to look "fabulous darling" in pink!:thumbsup2
