Stacielee and Daisy - I would so be in for a mini meet for the F&W. Probably just one night for me, but I could share a room and enjoy the festival with you. I am sure Cheryl, Chris and a few other locals would like to come, too. Maybe May 1st-ish? After Easter and before Mother's Day? You guys pick.:goodvibes And if we really want to do it in style and stay at the villas, Cheryl, Chris and I all have DVC points for maybe we could work something out?;)

I did not get the AP. I was planning on doing it the next trip and hoping to get two trips and a family trip out of it. We will be at WDW in December. Hopefully doing a Merry Christmas Party and then doing a 4 night cruise. We are then doing another 4 night cruise on the new boat June of 2011. The in-laws are joining us for that one.

Absolutely!!! The dates for next year won't be out until probably February, 2012. I just looked at the dates for last year (April 24-June 7) and this year (April 16-May 31) so we have a general time frame. I wonder why they moved it up a week??

I guess we have over a year to plan though...

You're going to WDW, right? This summer? I can't remember...

Did you get your AP for DL? I think you were talking about coming out in August... Again, I can't remember... I have to take my DD to college in August so I'll be out there, probably closer to the end of the month, I'm not sure when her 1st day of classes is.

Yup, yup! Huge Sharks fan. Always love seeing other hockey fans - no matter the team. I don't know any out here in CA which is lame with a capital L!!!

Really!! I think Tina *might* be a Sharks fan... We live about 10 minutes from the arena so that makes it easy to go. We went last week, got tickets just a couple of days before off Stub Hub. I think the Coyotes are in a make-or-break situation right now. I'm so glad they're doing so much better than last year, even though it took getting rid of Gretzky.

Are you both talking this year or next year? Guess I should have asked Daisy that in my 1st post. I'm talking more about next year. I'll be out there for MouseAdventure this May then bringing my DD home from college a few days later so I'm hoping there's some F&W events going on during the week between May 24 and 27 or 28 that I can attend. Linda, if you find out about anything, let me know, I'd love to meet up for something during that time as well!

That sounds awesome! I have DVC points too! Mine are for Saratoga Springs though....so no 11 month booking priority. I really would like to to the big Diva trip, but not thinking that it will work with the spring break being the same week. This sounds like a nice alternative for some of us and an extra add on for others!!!

Silly me - I thought you guys meant the Anaheim F&W.
Just disregard my previous post, sorry.:sad2:

Oh and Jazz, I've been meaning to mention my DD is a huge Kings fan. One of her BF's has season tix and so she goes quite a bit. She's going this coming Sunday - they are playing the Predators, I think. She doesn't post too often, but I will have to tell her to talk Hockey with ya!

Oh, so you're a cruiser, huh??

Mine are SSR as well, and I've already used my 2010 points so I don't get anything new until this September 1, and those will be 2011. I'm thinking I need to convince my DH to already buy more points. We just go these in December!!

I was talking about next year....my plate is full at home this year!

I do mean in Cali, maybe this year and next.

Our first cruise was this past December...a 3 night. The kids loved it!!! Donovan keeps asking to go back to the Mickey Boat.

Linda, we are talking about the one in California....not Orlando. So sorry for the confusion.

Lucky ;) I would love to live 10 minutes away from the HP Pavilion. I'm about 45 minutes away, traffic not withstanding, but I guess it could always be worse! It's a big reason why I don't get to too many games. I just don't have the time to drive out there. I'd have to leave before 5 my time if I wanted to beat traffic and I'd still get caught in it. But my classes make that impossible.

I think that's why I take photos galore at games. So I have something to hold me over until the next game I actually have a chance to get too. It's so hard for me to admit I've been to 2 games this year. I normally make a lot more, but all my money has been going to Disneyland. So ... I guess it's a fair trade-off.

;) I am always up for hockey talk.

See, times like this is the only chance I have to keep up with this thread, lol. School this semester is taking up all of my time. And it's all because of art. Can you believe it took me over 8 hours to get all this done:

And I still want to completely block half of it so nobody ever has to see it.

We seriously need to amend this! Too bad we didn't think of this in the first half of the season, lol. This semester's schedule is all night classes. And Thursday night is the only freebie I've got for one more week which leaves tomorrow the only game I can get too except one the one Saturday afternoon and one Sunday game left.

I haven't been to a game in quite some time. I think my mom is going to buy playoff tickets though, so I'm crossing my fingers that she takes me to at least one!!

I'll throw this out: I can book a worldmark 2 bedroom for 6 of us and it would work out to $133 per lady for the 4 night stay. Just sayin!

That is at the new World mark resort and it is more expensive than the older one, which would be $87 per lady for the 4 night stay.

Both of them are a little further than HOJO for walking though!

I'd have to get my hubby on board with committing our points or else figure out how to rent some more. Hmmm...

Tracey~ We stayed there in October! I loved it!! Its so nice!! Not in walking distance, but the ART is available. It is right across the street from Garden Walk. Very, very nice! The Pent house is AMAZING!!!!!!!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you ;) I've been to one playoff game and it was the game of the "5 on 1-and-a-half" PK where Hannan and Smith both had broken sticks back in '06 against Edmonton. I have never heard the tank get as loud as it did that night.

We'll just have to remember to make plans in plenty of time for next season, lol.

This looks great Jazz. Is it watercolor? What art class are you taking? I went to art school so I feel your pain. :)

Thanks - It's Gouache and then a coffee wash in the background ;)

This class is driving me nuts. It's just intro to drawing and painting or something like that and is required for my degree in digital media. Let's just say drawing of any kind has never been my strong suit. I kind of hate it to be honest. Which is so hard for me because everyone in my class loves is and draws loads in their spare time. I feel so incompetent sometimes!

I hear you. I strongly resisted when I was forced to take drawing but it gets easier. :)

Have you taken perspective yet? Now that made me cranky.

It's slwoly getting easier already. The hard part is when I have to work at home to try and catch up. I'm not so stressed out about it when I'm in class and at least have someone to bounce ideas back with. I'm terrified to add more layers to this thing at home but we'll only have an hour and a half to finish it on Monday in class and Wed. is the critique so I don't have much choice.

I just lack the confidence, I guess.

And no, this is the first drawing class of any kind I have ever taken. I've done lots of photography classes (all digital) but never anything else so I've got some catching up to do in my requirements. Which I find a little silly sometimes seeing as I'm studying digital media.

I never knew paint was digital :confused3 Go figure

:lmao:

:thumbsup2

That's as many as me! Oh man, I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer to the Tank. Then again, I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer to Disneyland too!
