4th Girls-Only Trip ~ PLEASE check first post for link to new thread

I'll be watching the planning from the sidelines for now. We have Spring Break next year March 12-20 and we're trying to get a timeshare in SoCal so I know I probably won't be able to turn right around 11 days later and come back out. If we don't get the timeshare in SoCal, we'll probably try for Florida. I still would like to try and come out sometime next year for Food & Wine though, so maybe a mini-meet will be in order.

Stacie, maybe those of us who can't make it for next year's trip could do one later during F&W. I know Melody said she can't make next year's dates and neither can I. Maybe we will get lucky and there will be a MA during that timeframe too!

Oh, and my son is a Sharks fan. He would love it if we made a trip down there to see a game.

Stacielee and Daisy - I would so be in for a mini meet for the F&W. Probably just one night for me, but I could share a room and enjoy the festival with you. I am sure Cheryl, Chris and a few other locals would like to come, too. Maybe May 1st-ish? After Easter and before Mother's Day? You guys pick. And if we really want to do it in style and stay at the villas, Cheryl, Chris and I all have DVC points for maybe we could work something out?

I'd like to join you guys if you have a mini-meet for F&W. I'd just be driving in.

Beth~ ugh...the afternoon sickness is still here. Its mostly when I eat. I am good with cereal, fruit & veggies, other than that its not so good. Oh and PBJ but I try to stay away from nuts. In all pregnancy has been a great diet plan!

Cristabel No, I am staying away from carmel corn. I missed the Pixie pixs because of it.

Vanessa I hope your sister is doing better.

I am good with a pink shirt. But no bling, or words across the but or decals across the butt...that is just WRONG!
My blingiest shirt is my Mickey shirt that I bought while I was there.

Okra I think I understand why you love your days off, well beside the dingbat boss.....Ok I have a dingbat boss, but not my direct boss, the boss boss. If that makes sense.

I moved into the kitchen since I am preggo and its hot gossip sessions in there. All of the CNA's one of the halls are mostly just out of HS and are either use to daddy doing everything for them or just lazy. They act like the best of friends on the floor then come in during or after serve out to complain about the others. Its quite funny most of the time. Since I did work with them & the lazy one is the one who is complaining about so and so not doing her work. Sadly if they would just stop complaining about each other and help each other out, they may actually be on time most days. But helping each other would be too much like teamwork....godforbid they do that!
M (the cook) & I just laugh.

Good morning ladies. Thank you Carol and Kelly for starting those mini meet threads. I know you'll both do a great job of overseeing those fun meets! Happy planning! I wish I could make one or both of those as I love NorCal and have always wanted to go to Seattle, but sadly it's not in the budget this year. I will live vicariously through you all.

I wanted to let you know I posted links to all the mini meet threads and our WISH thread on the front page. So if anyone needs them, they can always be found there. In addition, if at some point we decide to do any more exchanges like last year that's where those links will go as well.

Hello Ladies,

It's almost Friday!! I just wanted to thank you all for the well wishes for my sister. Her surgery went well and she was able to return home yesterday. My mom is going to stay with her for a few more days and I believe a friend of my sister will be staying with her next week. So she is in good hands. My sister told me that every time she woke up after the surgery (when she was still in recovery), they would give her shots of morphine and then gave her vicodin + morphine.

Today is my brother's birthday. I got him a gift certificate to amazon.com so I hope he likes it because he always buys stuff from there.
