It would be great if we could bridge the gap in the dates.

I don't think throwing in a new set of dates at this point is the way to go. There was time before to suggest dates - the voted on dates are all the ones that were suggested......

I'm all for a vote of the final two. Or even a complete new date. Why did we have such a large gap between March 3-7 and March 31-April 4?

No special reason. These were just the dates that were picked. It also avoided the time change on March 13, I think it was.







The fact is, there are NO dates, none, that will please each and every one of the 45-50 ladies planning to attend this trip. I hope with all my heart that each one of you who wants to attend will be able to make it. But we could toss dates around for the next few months and there will always be some reason why a certain set of dates isn't just perfect.
That's my take on it. Sorry if that seems cold or heartless, I don't mean it to be. But eventually a decision has to be made. kwim?

We know. Picking the dates always seems to get a bit tense and stressful. We all want to go, and we all want to have dates that work for each one of us, but that's not going to happen. All we can do is hope for the best.

Haha, could you imagine going during the time change? That always messes me up with my work schedule, it drives me nuts. It makes total sense to avoid those dates.

The good thing for me is that school is really the thing that would get in my way and if I know beforehand that I want to go I'll just be a little more picky about what days I schedule my classes. Work I can usually get off for a weekend now and again since I hardly ever take time off to begin with. Working graveyard every weekend sucks, but nobody usually complains when I say I need a weekend off.

My argument for having another vote for the top 2 dates is that there are more people who DIDN'T vote for those dates than did.

Ugh....the time change was HORRIBLE!!! Loved the Segway tour, but the time change almost killed me!

You all are so sweet! I think that my problem with him was his mood swings. He has depression and anger management issues. Soooo, yeah..my mom says it was probably good that I got out now. I do miss him...we were joined at the hip for months, but I will get over it.

There is something better around the corner.

Well as it turns out.. I'm still having issues with mine. It's so hard. I think you made the right choice. From what you've shared, he sounds kinda creepy and you're right to put a halt to it before he gets to stalker status. It's unfortunate that you had to break it off in a text because he was too childish to answer his phone. You deserve someone who likes/loves you for who you are and someone who is trustworthy and trusts you equally in return. You're awesome and I have no doubt that when you find the right guy you'll win him over in a heartbeat!

I just pray my issues get better. We got in an argument over Christmas break when he was in Oregon with his family and I was in Indiana with mine. I moved back very quickly because I was convinced it was over. Long before I promised him I'd never do to him what someone else did... leave. He begged me not to go but it was too late, all of my things were on their way back to Indiana. I should have never reacted so dramatically now he has problems trusting me. I don't blame him at all though. I would be devastated if I lost him for good. I just need to remain positive. Thats the best I can do I guess.

I love the horse race comment! I think we should vote on the top 2 so we can give others who didn't vote for the top to a chance to provide their input.

Also in reading posts both here and on FB, it seems more are for a second vote based on the top two winners, March 31 - April 4 and April 14 - 18, than are against it. I can do another short poll, using only those two options and lasting only a short while (no sense in it dragging it out for a week).

I didn't automatically discount anyone new, as they could be legitimately planning to join in based on which dates win. kwim? (For example, CathrynRose voted and she's never posted and not everyone knows her but she might be planning to come)
What I did was I took out the two who didn't make the age limit and therefore couldn't come even if they wanted to.
