I'm sorry if this is answered somewhere (which I'm sure it is) but I couldn't find it buried in all the FP+ threads.
In order to book a 4th FP (in park that day) do I have to have actually used my other 3 FPs, or is it enough that they have expired? I'm specifically thinking of Epcot, where we have booked Soarin' in advance, but also would like to try to get TT that day. Given the choices for tier 2, we may not need to actually use the other FPs that we have booked. If we don't use them, but the time slots expire, are we still free to then book TT as a 4th, just as we would have been if we had actually used the tier 2 FPs we had booked?
