$49 rate for December?

I think I recall reading somewhere about a $49 per night rate for December, but now I cannot find it. Am I dreaming, or can someone verify and provide details? Many thanks!

It was probably the rate that the folks who received the 40% discount pin got their value rooms for. That pin has expired now. The AP discount is $59 a night. I don't think there are any general public room only discounts current available. There is a package discount available on the disney website.

Remember the AP discount ($59.00 per night) is only good until

The $49 was for 40% off deal. There is nothing for Gen. Public at the moment.

I received a card in the mail with a PIN today but I think it was for $69/night for booking a value in Nov and Dec (excluding Thanksgiving) and before Dec 24th.

This is the first one I've ever gotten, and of course now I own DVC so I don't need them. I do have a friend that is thinking about going in December, does anyone know if you can "transfer" these or if they can use the PIN even though I assume it is tied to my name?

These are non-transferable - they can only be used by the person whose name and address is on the postcard.
