LOL Krisu !!!! I used to have to do that and set it in big juice cans too !!! I have curly hair and we all know THAT was a fashion no-no in the 70's.

Yup! I did a blue jean shirt for my boyfriend's graduation gift! (1976) I was paid by a girl at school to embroider a dress for her! Now I'm a cross stitch nut so I guess some of it carried over!


And I remember being allowed to wear pants - it was in the 7th grade for me so that would have been 1973. I still couldn't wear jeans because I couldn't ever find any that fit - that was back when they were ALL straight boy cut - and I had girl hips even then!

Oh my gosh! I used to iron my hair too! My hair was long and wavy! I wanted perfectly straight hair so bad!!!!! I also sewed on patches!
