40% discount code

OK I called to get a price with my 40% discount code. I thought it was a great deal. I have to confirm the dates with school first. I just decided to go online and get a price myself. To my surprise the price diffence is 42.01. ???? What kind of 40% discount is that?

Did any other disser take advantage of the 40% discount code?

If so how much did you save?

I used the 40% pin code and booked the poly for 11 nights and saved $1,800.00 something for Sept. cuz 7 whatever deal ends mid aug. ,and if Free Dining comes out with how many kids in my family that still saves me more $ even if FD comes out. Now if you are staying at a cheaper resort you might find better deal with dif pin or FD super deal you want a value resort! Not sure what you priced and for how many nights?

I agree with the pp... you are doing something wrong. I would call reservations. The 40% discount is a substantial savings over rack rate.

PP must have misunderstude me. I did call. The first thing she asked me for was my pin code. After she quoted me a price I got online and wanted to compare the prices (40% vs regular price) It was a 40 dollar difference. Apparently she did not give me the 40% discount. I will call again and see what someone else tells me.

Are you sure that all of your dates are included in the valid dates for the PIN? I know that when we are going in October, the Value resorts are about $40 off each night under the valid PIN dates.

If you didn't use the pin, would you be eligible for the 4/3 deal? If so, then the 40% isn't going to offer much of a savings.

The compared prices were a total. (insurance taxes) As far as the 4/3 deal I am not sure. I know when I got a qoute on the website I did not click on the 4/3 prices. But my price was only for 5 nights 6 days. And the dates are definately valid dates for the pin codes.

I will try and call again today.

I just booked 6 nights at AKL last night with the 40% off code and did the same thing, went online and priced the vacation to see what the difference was. I am saving about $1000 using the code.

2 poly rooms $1600+ total savings w/ the 40%. I'd run the numbers on the computer and was online looking @ them when I booked w/ the human. I think the 4/3 equals a 43% savings - but I'm going in dec. so it wasn't available. For me the weekend prices really mattered, by being flexible w/ my dates I avoided the $500+ per room weekend rate applicable to most of dec..

Are you sure your online quote included insurance? I'm not saying you didn't include it, just trying to figure out why the 40% wasn't saving you more.

I saved $400 off 6 nights at the CSR. I priced out the rack rate and subtracted 40% so when I called, I knew how much it should be. They were right on with what I thought it should be.

For our Sept trip on the 40% code we are save just shy of $1500 without figuring the tax savings...which with the sky high hotel taxes down there, its not an insignificant savings!
