4 day or 5 day pass?

First, thank you for all of the wonderful information as I have been lurking! This has been such a great resource!

DH, DS (7), DD (5), and I will be in WDW 11/7 (arriving late)- 11/13 (leaving early). We are staying in a motorhome in FW.

I was looking for opinions as to the better ticket purchase stategy. I was originally thinking of a 4 day park hopper and taking a day off to relax and enjoy FW activities. I was then thinking maybe a better idea would be to buy a 5 day park hopper and take a morning off on one day and an afternoon on another day or longer blocks of time for breaks each day.

What do you think is a better way to go?

If there is a 4 day Park Hopper plus pass (I'm not sure if there is) I would go with that. Otherwise I would do a 5 day Park Hopper plus pass, on the days you don't want to do the parks you can use the plus features to go to the water parks or disney quest or something. There are 2 plus features with a 5 day PHP. Keep in mind that the days or plus features do not expire so if you don't use them this trip you can bring it along for the next time you go!

Thank you for the reply. I didn't know the plus features don't expire now either....that must have changed since my last visit 3 years ago.


My last trip, we had the time to alternate a day at a park, then a day off. This time, we don't have the time available since we are taking the kids out of school for a week...also DH wants to drive (though I am campaigning against that!)


I was just wondering if it is more relaxing to take one day completely off, or to stretch the park visits out over 5 days and forcing ourselves to take good blocks of time off throughout the week.
