Day 2 Monday- We woke up early and watched them dock the ship in Nassau. We weren't really going to get off the ship--just relax by the pool but then I remembered that I wanted to buy some of those shirts that change colors in the sun. We went for breakfast at Beach Blanket and then we headed off to the Mickey Pool which both kids loved the slide. We put the kids in the clubs while we went into Nassau (about 1 hour), I don't think they were very happy with us because they wanted to keep swimming. Luckily, we got back and went to see if they wanted to come out and DD12 did, wanted to swim. When we got to DD5, they were just about to have Capt. Hook come in (she was absolutely terrified when she saw him on the ship earlier) so we "rescued" her just in time! She also wanted to go swim some more as well. DD12 said it was okay (the kids club) DH noticed that there didn't seem to be many kids in it that were her age, however, she did win a hat playing scategories and she also did some animation thing.
For dinner we were scheduled for Parrot Cay, however, for some reason, we kept thinking we were going to Triton's. We were running late for dinner as it was (spent too long at the pool), and we rushed to get dressed. We get down to Triton's around 6:15 and have our picture taken. As we are about to walk in, we get stopped and they ask DH for the tickets. He takes them out and we are told we are at the wrong restaurant, that we should be at Parrot Cay. Back up to the room we go to change DD5 (quick change from one dress to another) and DH looses the jacket and then literally, run down to Parrot Cay. Luckily, we had our own table and they were just serving the apps. DD5 had a hot dog, DD12 had the cajun lime chicken, I had the Rib-eye steak and DH had the stuffed shells. For desert, DD12 and I split the key-lime pie, DD5 had ice cream and DH hadthe Khalua truffle. For their show, our server O'Neill was balancing stuff on his head! Then Nora had the girls go out onto the floor with them, they had a good time!
Capt. Hook was in the restaurant going around to the tables. DD5 started getting nervous, but luckily, he didn't come over. He was in the atrium when we were leaving so DD12 went over for a picture and autograph. We went over for bingo, but could only play the last one and didn't win. DD5 was falling asleep so we brought her up to the room and then DD12 fell asleep as well. DH and I went up to deck 9 for the family pre-tropical party which was pretty good. They had everyone dancing so we went up and watched from Deck 10.
We then went over to WaveBands for Match your Mate, kind of like the newlywed game. This was very funny. Afterwards, they had kareoke and most of the people could actually sing so DH was disappointed in the beginning (he thinks it's hilarious when people can't sing and try to). However, like I said, MOST of the people could sing, not all. I have to apologize to the man who was singing Neil Diamond, as DH and I wer standing on our seats singing very loudly with him and actually had people around us doing the same! While this was going on, we set sail for Freeport.

Too bad your younger dd was afraid of Captain Hook!

I really enjoyed reading this, thanks for posting :)

Very nice report...can't wait to read the next report...

My DD8 can relate to your about Captain Hook. She had started to get over her phobia of the character until Castaway Cay day and Capt Hook kind of 'charged' at her. She ran away crying! She was terrified of him the rest of the trip.

Good report. Looking forward to reading the rest.:)
