I am thinking of upgrading our tickets to nonexpiry. We paid for 5 and are getting 3 free. It will only cost about 70.00 @ more to upgrade. ( I think they are using the rate for 5 day ticket).

If I wait to upgrade the tickets during my trip, will this price go up?

Thanks.

This is based on one adult tix.

4,5,6,7 day base tix all cost the same. 8 day base adds $3.19.

Addo-ons:
No expire option for 4-7 days cost $53.25. No expire for 8 days cost $77.74.
Water option for 4-7 days cost $53.26. Water for 8 days cost $56.46
Hopper for 4-75 days cost $53.25. Hopper for 8 days cost $56.46

If in doubt, go to the link and just select a sample rez. Then play with the tix options.

The upgrade prices later could be based on standard rates. A No expire upgrade for an adult 8 day base is $145 + tax...

What if I buy a seven day ticket, they add on 3 free days to make it 10. Then when I get there I add on non expiring. Is the non expiring fee based on 10 days or 7(what I paid)?

Go online, and try it out. That's what I did before.. Now it's your turn :) go to disneyworld.com, follow the buy 4/3 special link, and just try any rez.

Then look at the tix are (you need to expand the tab) and you'll see the pricing differences.

From what I remember (I closed the page) the prices were based on the standard prices except of reducing the free days. IE, a 10 day would be based on standard price of 6 day.

One other thing to note - when you are doing it like this on a package, the prices it shows include tax. When you do it on the standard tix. price page, those numbers do not include tax.

Thank you, I will try that. I made my reservation over the phone and forgot that you can do an online res. with this deal unlike the other code discounts.

Well, I put in the numbers and the total (w/o tax) to add non expiring to a 10 day ticket was $117 each. That is what is listed on mousesavers for a 7 day ticketnon. ex. fee with tax. So, it looks like it is worth it to upgrade to non expiring now. After you arrive at the resort, I am thinking they may make you pay the fee for the 10 day which would be $213 each!

I read on Mousesavers that to add non-expiry option to the 4/7 deal you would only pay the non-expiry rate for the 4 day ticket- true or false?

I think it is true if you have the seven day ticket. If you want a 10 day ticket, it seems you pay the 7 day fee. Hard to believe they would let you do this.

I was going to do the 4/3 thingy and upgrade to the non-exp. That was quite the bargain!

I agree, when I saw this on Saturday, I flipped out. This could save a family of four an unadvertised ADDITIONAL $385. I honestly think this is a computer glitch and will be fixed soon. In the meantime I am scurrying to completely replan my trip to take into account that we'll have non expiring tix and now will now have a few non park days and possibly some water park days (if we get some heat in February)
