Yeah we kinda lucked out and one was available when I booked in
November. I'm happy cause I wanted a window for my first cruise.

I have a feeling you will definitely see me Nassau day. Wandering around in my dress going here, there and everywhere.

A quick message--On the FE participants could we indicate girl or boy along with ages in case we want to get some gender specific? Also I heard today from a friend of mine who just returned from her umpteenth disney cruise that on Pirate Party night everyone was given a buccaneer bandana at dinner to wear. This could be used by men like my DH and DS, or myself who are shy about dressing up. Julie I told your DH about this this evening. I will do the cut and paste tomorrow with the room numbers if my DDL doesn't do it first. I tend to be computer challenged. Yea it is getting closer and I am counting down!!

SPH is short for "Secret Port Hole" it is basically a CAT 10 room that has a window with an obstructed view. So for a cheaper price you are kinda getting a CAT 8 or 9 room since CAT 10's normally do not have windows.

No excursions for me. But the wedding will be an excursion unto itself.

We are booked for the Atlantis Aquaventure. I am really excited about this one as I really want to see the water slides and stuff over at the Atlantis Resort.

For Castaway Cay I am excited to spend the whole day doing nothing but sit at the beach

We are doing the Atlantis Aquadventure, but on our own. We reserved a room at the Comfort Suites and we will take a cab there and back. The comfort suites gives you full access to Atlantis.

We are going to the Zoo & gardens in Nassau but on our own - not with a tour. Hope to catch the local bus for 50 cents. Probably will then go to the Pirate Museum. I do plan to order sandwiches from room service on Sunday evening to have for the grandkids to eat on Monday in Nassau. [a tip I learned from reading the DIS]

Hi everyone!
Last time we were in Nassau we did an historical tour that included the Pirate Museum. It was pretty good. I tend to lean toward those kind of things--I teach history. This time we will be observing our oldest grandson encountering dolphins. It should be fun. We will have the youngest with us as well. Yes it is getting closer. I haven't completed any of the online checkin stuff yet but plan to do it soon. We have a few days off this week for spring break and I didn't bring any homework home! Hope you are all having a good week!!!

I'm so excited - I have the go ahead to pay for our cruise! We go on the April 26 on Wonder for their four night Bahamas cruise. Never cruised before but wanted to do it right the first time. We're kind of checking things out for when we go with our family. Have two DS and one DD. Celebrating our anniversary and my DH Bday with this - our second solo vacation since kids 19 years ago.

Looking at all the info I can find on what to do and what to avoid. I have to pay for the cruise today and hoping I'm making the right stateroom choice. A close friend that has cruised a lot said to get a room the highest up that we can afford. So I'm thinking deck 6 cat 8 as far to the front as I can so we're closer to the adult stuff on the boat (particularly the spa and adult only pool). Does this make sense to you seasoned cruisers??? Any tips you all have for a couple cruising without kids would be greatly appreciated.

I know I would love to do a meet and greet. Problem is with all the wedding stuff and obviously being with my family it probably wouldn't work. I really do hope I run into you all on embarkation day.

I have only been on 2 cruises but on the last one DH and I feel in love with being towards the front of the ship on deck 2. I know it's a personal choice for everyone but it was nice to be near the clubs, right by the adult pool.

Our group is all adults 23+. Of course I am traveling with my dad, aunt and uncle and cousin so I guess they are traveling with "kids" LOL!

I love Disney Cruises. Of course I have no other cruise lines to compare to but I am trying to talk DH into booking on-board for another one. So you guys can definitely enjoy a Disney Cruise "kid-less'.

Hi everyone!

Regarding the meet, I am game. Where and when is the question?

We are scheduled for the second dining. No plans to change.

I have done nothing for the FE gifts and this was all my idea too. Maybe I will put that down on the agenda, buy FE gifts!

Concerning the meet and greet--How early are people boarding? I have been told that people get to the terminal early and do things in the terminal until they are escorted on board. Maybe some of us could meet there or somewhere on the ship after everyone is on board? My friend also said to take your camera to the terminal for lots of pictures!! We have the early seating for dinner and can't really change. The boys(grandsons) need to eat then as do I. I have done a little on the FE stuff. I am still working on some ideas. Have a good rest of the week!
