Your skills are looking good. The Halloween costume is cute. I don't know about the Pirate night, however I have a friend who does Disney cruises. I will ask her--of course whe doesn't have kids. I have not worked on my fish extender either. It is on the to do list. I have been looking into hotels in the Port Canaveral area. We want to get there a day ahead and stay overnight before the cruise. Any suggestions? I noticed on your signature you stayed at the Wilderness lodge? When my kids were at home we would go to Disney and camp at Camp Wilderness I beleive. It was really nice and convenient for all the kids. Have a good day!
Thanks for the compliment on the dresses!
As far as Hotels in the Port Canaveral area, the Passporters book had several recommendations, but the Radisson looked nice and it is closest to the terminal. I think they quote the price around $130/night. They offer a shuttle to port which would save you a parking fee at port. I think we are going to get up early with hopes to be at the terminal for 10 am. I believe it is a hour drive from the WDW area.
Yes, we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. While I thought it was a lovely resort, I will not be staying there again. For a deluxe resort, I thought the moderates were just as nice and it is half the price for a moderate. I believe you stayed at Fort Wilderness is right next to the Wilderness Lodge. I am a camper, but I would never drive to WDW so I have never stayed at Fort Wilderness, but I hear it is the nicest campground in America. Maybe some day I will stay there. Heck I never thought I would book Disney cruise and I did that.
