4/15/2007 Anyone?

Mr Smeck,

Sorry you and your family has colds. At least we all brought the good weather back to New England. Actually my daughter is home from school today with a cough etc, we get to go to the doctors today whohoo.

Was that you on the day at sea with your Dice K shirt on dancing by while High School Musical was on (on Deck 10)????

Just wanted to say the husband is in 7th heaven, come back from a great vacation with sun and the Sox sweep the Yankees.....life is good!!!

That might of been me I"ll never admit it much to my daughters embarrassment. (pardon the spelling). The Sox were awesome a great sweep to what looks like a special year at Fenway.

It was great to seem them sweep the Evil Empire, but be careful now - let's not jinx it!! We've all seen how the Sox can collapse on a moment's notice!!

Those 4 home runs in a row, last night, were fantastic!! I couldn't believe what I was seeing!!

Forgot to ask...... did anyone else get a "Year of a Million Dreams" moment last week? We were in Downtown Disney the day before the cruise and each got "Year of a Million Dreams" Mickey ears! When we went to Epcot, we stopped at the Hewlett Packard employee lounge (DW is an employee) at Mission Space and the same CM was working there.

DW kept looking for the CM passing out the stay in Cindy's castle :rolleyes1 or at least a park-wide fast pass (we did see a family who got one of those).

I must come clean, I"m not eligible because I'm a cm, got a great rate so I guess I did have a dream come true.

hi all it was great to meet everyone. we had a wonderful time. we are trying to convince the family they want to come next year. i hope we can. sounds like a great family reunion trip to me. i am working on trip reports, cant wait to read them all. hope to keep in touch with everyone

We are used to May crowds but we got threre at opening and used fast passes and we got all the major attractoins we wanted to see done..so not too bad! The weather was perfect as was a our stay at BWV...but two days at BWV is so not enough!:guilty:

Hi Everyone,
Yes, it went by waaay toooooo fast, but sure was nice meeting all of you
and putting faces to the names. Wish we all could have somehow had dinner
together, or something, but running into people here and there was nice.

Thank you all for all the great info, advice and friendship. This trip would
not have been the same without all of you!!!

Went to Epcot Friday and got the Dreams fastpass for the three of us!!
Sat was Animal Kingdom and we got one of the first Safari rides in the AM
and saw all sorts of animals!
Sun was MK with exteneded evening hours at night, and we went on so
many rides.....was really nice. We had Happy Anniversary/1st Trip pins,
and CMs gave us comp drinks and desserts, and nice wishes.

We started our vacation with a cruise, and ended it with the Jungle Cruise.
Daniel even got to be the skipper of our boat, and became an Honorary
captain!

Thanks everyone for all the memories!
Patrick, Ada and Daniel :flower3:

What an absolute wonderful vacation! We got home today (Tues) and had to pry John (DH) and Kaylee (DD) out of the condo! They didn't want to come home.
It was nice meeting all of you. I certainly learned alot from this board. We didn't book another trip. We need to absorb this one first.
We did Typhoon Lagoon on Wed and then MGM/AK on Sat and then just hung out the rest of the time.
It sure is nice to be home.

We sure can understand why everyone keeps going on Disney cruises. Its the best!

It was great to see you at OKW also. :goodvibes I was so surprised when I heard you call my name!:rotfl2:

Thank you all for a magical cruise!:cool1: We had a great time even though Kayleigh got seasick the last day!! We sent most of the day at sea in the room with a trash can by the bed! Sue, it was so nice to have you and your family as table mates!

We spent Thursday at NASA and the Cocca Beach Hilton (nice hotel!). We flew back to Mass on Friday. I was hoping to get bumped off the flight and stay one more day, but no luck!!

One last question, How do we post our photos on this DIS board thread?

Hi Alisa,

It was great to meet you!:goodvibes

To post pictures, you save them to an online photo sharing site like photobucket and then copy the img code to your post. First though, you should edit the photo to message board size.

Hi,

I was just curious did anyone else miss the steel band on deck as much as I did? Last time we cruised the Wonder, there was a still band playing upon arrival, later in the day at Nassau and also on the "at sea" day, it just gave bit more ambience when enjoying sitting out on deck. I was just wondering what others thought.

:cool1: Contemplating the Magic for next April :cool1:

Hi Lynne, I missed the steel band as well. How can you be in the Caribbean without a steel band!:sad2:

Let us know if you book the Magic. That would be wonderful. We can't book anything for awhile with all the college bills.

Did I tell you all that when we got home, our basement had been flooded for a week? We lost so many things and now we have a company coming out tomorrow to rip out the carpet, disinfect and deodorize the whole basement. This will cost us $2,600!!!!!!:scared: There goes any thought of another cruise for quite awhile.:sad2: We spent the last few days cleaning out all the smaller items. DH has to make a dump run for everything that we lost.

Hi everyone,

We finally got back to Australia last Sunday after the best vacation ever.

We absolutely LOVED the cruise and really want to do it again. We'd like to do a 7 day but its just a dream at the moment unless we win the lottery.:rotfl2:

We did most of the things we wanted to do in WDW but even 2 weeks wasn't enough time to do everything. We really liked the Beach Club Resort. It was great to walk to Epcot which is our favourite park.

Meeting you all on the cruise was a real pleasure. Its nice to know that even though we live half a world away we still have a lot in common.

Cathy

Hi Cathy,

I'm so glad you all had such a wonderful vacation. Epcot is our favorite park as well.:thumbsup2

A 7 day cruise is great. We did a 7 day Eastern Caribbean a few years ago on the Magic and it was awesome.

It was so wonderful to meet you and your beautiful family. Hopefully we'll all meet again on our next DCL cruise!:woohoo: Of course, we don't have one planned, but it's nice to dream.:rotfl2:
