<----- that's me laughing at me......I thought the same thing....I bought TONS of stuff on the Sept 09 cruise (DCL now has an embosser, logo punch, more papers...and I bought it ALL)....still in a pile in the other room.

I knew about all the stuff they had and refused to look at it on my last cruise. My idea was that it would motivate me to finish the others. Not yet and now I keep saying to myself, "If only I had bought that stuff on the ship!" Yeah right!

As I've said before, the place that I work at part time is an online scrapbooking place that has some awesome paper and diecuts. I would put the name but I don't want the Moderator to slap my hand. So if anyone is interested PM me and I will give you the link. I have about a 3 or 4 page list of supplies I want to get when I get back from the cruise. My husband is very scared about that. (And those are just for my past books like everyone else that I haven't finished) We'll see what I add after the cruise.

Alls I have to say is DVR!!!! That has allowed me to enjoy the Olympics at least a bit. I think I am still watching like a week agos stuff but at least I get to see it. I have been working 10-12 hour days to make money to pay for this cruise. Not complaining in the least, but makes it hard to keep up on shows.

I second this! DVR is such a great invention. We use it every day!

Kristi, I am an avid scrapbooker -- and I try to stay no more than about 6-9 months behind. Given that I take (literally) thousands of photos, this is no easy feat! <g> We even changed our guestroom into a scrapbooking studio, as I have a small scrapbooking business.

Ok MIL is coming - on this cruise - just wish I really did have someone to share a cabin with her So if anyone is really thinking about bringing along someone else and would share a cabin with a 62 yo grandmother let me know

Philly must be a Barcelona hub

Hubs are based upon the specific airline, not where the flights are coming from, or going to. As an example, American Airlines (AA) and US Air are big airlines at Philly. As an example, unless you have a direct flight ... if you fly west or south from Philly on AA, you will likely go through their hub at either Chicao O'Hare, or Dallas/Ft Worth.

Many international flights bypass Philly altogether, and fly into one of the NYC airports, BWI (Baltimore/Washington), or Regan National airport.

Does Shutters offer a service where they'll download your pictures from your camera onto a disc? And if so, any idea of cost?

I always watch ABC shows online at abc.com or hulu.com - if you have quick internet but no dvr its a good way to catch up....most of the major networks now have video online.

Will definitely be catching up on my fav shows after the cruise is over!

Same here, we gave up the cable bill about 2 months ago and haven't miss a single show. I love Lost, Hero's and Psych too much to miss them!

He might get lucky. They aired Lost premiere on my cruise. ABC is a Disney company. I didn't watch because it was pirate night. Watched on my DVR when I got home. 1st thing. Not certain how TV works sailing across the Atlantic ocean.

As of yesterday, we'll be joining you on 8 - got a lovely phone call with an upgrade from our Cat. 7 Navigator's Verandah to a Cat. 4, 8574. Looks like it's upgrade central going on around here.
