Anyone get their cabin assignments yet? Were 12 GTY and hoping for this week. Are there a lot of 12 GTY out there?
Navigator Verandas are Cat 7. Since husband I did a Nav Veranda for our honeymoon we have been spoiled.
And since everyone is talking about where they are going afterwards. DH and I are going to Germany. We are actually getting of the boat on Friday. He has always wanted to see Neuschwanstein!

If you guys want to be included in the free lanyards and the corresponding recognition by us, please let us know by posting whatever information you are okay with sharing: first names, cabin # (or GTY, like so many), Main or Late dining, hometown, special days during cruise (anniversary, birthday).
For my purposes, I would like to make your name tag the way you like it: choose between with or without Donald. My signature box (below) shows the with Donald version. You can imagine without Donald.
We'll be handing out the lanyards at the Terminal (and in Port Canaveral the night before at a Cruise Eve meet) and at the introductory Meet & Greet at 3:00 in the Promenade Lounge just before the Life Boat Drill (so you know it has to be short). The Meet and Greet is just that - no activities, just trying to put faces with names and handing out mini-Navigators (a brochure just for us DISboarders with group activities, fellow cruiser names, etc).
FYI (especially those who are not so great with mixers): The Promenade Lounge is an open area (with a bar against a wall) that is used by DCL for games during the day, family dances between dinners, all types of gatherings. You won't feel like you are walking into a closed room, so you can make an escape easily. You don't have to stay from 3:00 - 3:45, just drop by and make contact with somebody.

I have this un-natural fear of falling 10 decks into the cold Atlantic waters. And while I can swim that just sounds like a bad thing.
I thought maybe just two boards. Both with the number 10 on it.
If the 9:20 flight was going to be a problem, dh said we'd just get off the ship on Friday so I mentioned that option since they kept suggesting that I change my flight plans. I don't see why it would be a problem. People do get on and off at all the ports. It's funny because every CM says something different.
Not that there's anything wrong with that!
