3x disney visa reward points now thru June

Just got in the mail today enroll and earn 3% instead of 1% from April thru June. PERFECT timing for my June trip!!!!!I need all the help I can get! I will pay off the rest of my trip at the end of April and earn a bit more cash.

Oh I hope I got that. I can't wait to get home and check my mail. I might even have to pay off my August trip a little early (it would only be a week I think) if it means tripling my rewards.

Did it say that it was for anyone who already has the card, or just new enrollees? I haven't received anything in the mail yet, but I'll be watching.

Is it for all purchases, or just certain categories?

Chase does not send these bonus offers to every cardholder. I've received them in the past, but there are times I know from the Dis that other people have received them and I haven't. And there are often different bonus promos for different people. Sometimes they will list 3 categories, other times it is spending in any category. They usually have a threshold you have to exceed and the bonuses are only on spending excess of that threshold. The threshold varies by person as well and is tailored to your spending habits. Some posters here have talked about thresholds of $100 or $200 whereas the thresholds I've had are generally $750 or higher.

We've had our Disney Visa almost two years and we received our first multiple rewards offer in the mail yesterday. It's the 3x program with a threshold of $750 in four categories: gas, groceries, airlines, and, um dining I think. (I already forgot the last category.)

Haven't had teh card that long but hope I get this promotion. Have been using the card for everything to build points for my May trip.

No, these are promos designed to induce certain targeted people to spend more on their cards. You have to be invited by Chase to participate. There have been posters here who have called and asked to get the offer who were told no.

You can call and ask but now that I look at the offer there is a code associated with it...so I would assume unique to each person...I have had thecard since thebeginning and I think this is the 3rd time ever I got an offer....

and you have to call the phone number on the offer and enter the code or do it online. I didn't get this one but I have gotten the 5 times offer in the past. The best was Oct - Dec 2009 $250 threshold all spending and I could earn up to $200 bonus dollars!! This one is 3 times (good but not quite so good with 100) The regular Disney Dollars are earned and posted as normal and the bonus (the extra dollars) are earned on the actual month (1st - month end) and not the stmt cycle date. You have to meet the threshold each month and then earn the bonus on the amt over. Hope this helps. No rhyme or reason as to who gets the offer but I think it's to entice people to charge more than they can pay off each month so the Bank earns interest. I've never been a good one for that since I do pay off each month in full. Sometimes I think they pick the categories so you charge everyday items to run up a balance and not be able pay in full each month. there has to be a reason and a money earning one for the bank to do this!

I got an offer yesterday, but unfortunately it was if I used my card at Lowes. Wish it had been the other offer.

Just got it and for us it's not that good.
You have to spend $750 each month before the bonus kicks in and the four categories are gas, air, dining, and groceries. I suppose if people planning trips needed to purchase flights, that might be worth something, but we get ours with FF miles.
We don't spend anywhere NEAR $750 per month on either gas or dining, and even groceries is a stretch. (each category is a per month $750 before bonus)
Maaayyybe we'll get a couple extra points with groceries, but I doubt it. I shop alot at Costco and warehouse stores aren't included.
The max bonus is 100 points.

We use ours for eveything and pay it off every month and we got one, In fact this is third time in two years we have gotten the offer. So who knows why some do and some don't.

Ooops! You're right, I just double checked my flyer. I guess because it first says "In any single category", my eyes must have skipped the "or combination" part. LOL!

Ok, well then we'll get a little bit out of it.

One thing I couldn't figure out from the fine print is, do you get the bonus points each month like normal, or at the end of the promotion? Anyone know??

Had our card for about 5 years and got the 3% promo today. Use it for everything and pay it off monthly. We've had several promos in the last year but the thresholds keep getting higher. At least it's a combination of the categories! I wouldn't have even checked that if I hadn't seen it on here. I think in the past the rewards usually kick in a couple cycles later and they're listed separately. I always register my code even if I don't think I'll meet it. You never know...

Did this offer come to you in a separate mailing, or was it enclosed with your bill? I have the Disney Visa, but did not get such a mailing. I've never gotten a PIN code from Disney, either.
