So I was up In Foxborough for the Jets game yesterday and in my 4 hour ride home after the Jets lost all i coud think was

I knew exactly what this thread would be about before I even opened it! I was listening to MLB This Morning on XM175 while driving this morning and when they said "38 days until pitchers and catchers report", I literally screamed out "Woo Hoo!"

With the weather being so warm in the east lately, it's felt like there should be a baseball game on TV at 7:05!

I'm going to be near West Palm Beach, Florida the last week of Feb. Spring training games don't start then do they? I have already purchased tickets for a regular season Mets game!

No, the games won't start until the beginning of March, but you might be able to catch a practice session. I know the Yankees allow visitors to practices; I'm sure many of the other MLB teams do also. And better yet, these are free!

I just checked the Mets' ST schedule and they actually start on Feb. 28th at Port St. Lucie.

I did get to a Mets spring training game in 2005. Port St. Lucie was beautiful! I'll have to check out the training sessions. I won't be far from Jupiter, and the Cards & Marlins train there.
