Thanks Lessa - I didn't know that. I'm not getting a hopper, so I guess that makes the decision a bit easier. I wonder why they wouldn't allow you to use 2 days of tickets that way if it was your choice?

I assume it is all down to money. They want people to pay the hefty fee for hoppers. Once you have at least a five day ticket adding extra days is only a few dollars so for Disney that would not make financial sense to allow the hopping without the hopper. That is my guess.

I guess so. Well, I may just leave it up to the weather then - on our non park day together, DH and I will have the option of returning to a park if we are inspired, or I will go for a half day before I fly out. It's pretty nice to have options!

Definitely! It is always nice to be flexible and be able to relax or go to the park whenever you feel like it.

Still here as much as I can be. :) And still loving all your planning. No, they won't let you use 2 tickets even for going to different parks in a day. Only 1 park per day. It stinks. Makes buying a PH more attractive- especially for solo trips. YOu can be WAY faster and hopping is easy. But in your case, it will make the decisions easier too.

I totally get it. Totally. Mine is a wet blanket too; a total downer who just wants to lay around the pool interspersed with a few hours in the gym. It sux. So I go solo for the most part.

And this is why we could be besties. Of course, you are way more energetic and motivated than I am, but I have to be inspired by real life princesses too! Although I have not been a total lazy girl - just finished knitting myself a scarf, and my daughter a head band/ear warmer. But the dirty dishes in my kitchen keep whispering "lazy" to me.. Be quiet in there, you bad kitchen dishes!

I am definitely passionate, but it can at times be a bad thing too. I can get pretty one-track minded and blow my family off. In fact, I've seen very little of them for a year and a half with school, but you do what ya gotta do. There is a balance there somewhere, and I hope I can find it once again after I graduate and find a part time job.

Well, since I had no sleep last night (for no good reason at all, smh :sad2: ) my resistance was down today. After DD18's eye appointment at the mall, this happened:

And in honour of this, I have now changed my traditional pink MB for a blue one! And I will bring the pink one along for a back up...

Love the shirt!!

Ok, now for some comic relief. And to give you an idea of what I am dealing with. Last night DH saw a commercial for Disney World. His comment was "They have Star Wars stuff at Disney? Where?" followed by "Are there real lions at Disney?" :rolleyes2
He could be just pulling my leg... But maybe he is going to enjoy parts of this trip after all!

:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Too funny!

Silly me, it took me this long to realize that you have a PTR going of your own.
I love your Ireland trip photos. That's one of he places on my bucket list.
Lovely pics of you and your family.
LOL at your husband's recent comments. That is just too funny.

Your DH sounds like DF. He says he will get excited at 10 days out. I'm sure sooner than that since it's our first vacation ever in the last 12 years, but every now and then he will see or read something. Then there will be a random out of the blue, "hey what is this?" type question. Or I will mention one little thing, and it will spark a question from him.
