Don't you just want to shake him by the shoulders a bit?!? I keep saying that DH just doesn't understand... Of course, I hope he feels the magic. We are preparing for him to be not impressed, and that way any little bit of excitement or enjoyment will be icing on the cake. If nothing else, he will enjoy the resort and get in some good nap time!
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about your DD. Hope she feels better soon.OK, so I kind of fibbed a bit in my last post. But since occasionally nursing type people visit here, I'll come clean - I've been spending a lot of medical time with DD18 as of late, 10 hours at emergency and various other tests since Sunday. Apparently the flu was not the cause of the illness of the past two weeks, as DD18 is jaundiced and her liver is not functioning properly. Lots of testing to continue, but so far Hep C has been ruled out. We had some improvement of blood work in today's test, and ultrasound came back clear. She seems in pretty good spirits now that she is not constantly vomiting, but as she puts it "this yellow skin is not working with my current eye shadow palettes", so she's still got her priorities in order, lol. However, we will have to see how stable things are, and how specialist appointment goes, before we can embark upon this trip without parental guilt. Hoping for more good news from Friday's upcoming blood tests. Thanks for reading.
