It happens There's a very handy delete function for avoiding those duh moments

It doesn't always allow you to delete posts that begin new threads!

However, you can "disguise" your mishap, by editing your post, and then changing the title, and voila, you have a new thread with a proper topic in it!

You can also ask a Moderator to delete it for you

You can delete your own post <i>within</i> a thread - but if it's the first post <i>starting</i> a thread, you can't.
