I feel just the opposite. I don't think this decision was well thought through at all. Disney execs make mistakes too. This is a snowball effect:
1.Much fewer people will be renting strollers. What does this mean?
A.People will bring their own strollers, which will create almost unmanageable waits and crowds for buses.
B.Because of point A, people will start renting cars and venturing off of Disney property.
C.People will deal with the price increase for strollers, but in return, have less money to spend at the parks.
Just for fun, I'll start a poll and see what people's plans are going forward.
I see where you are coming from, but I work for the corporate offices of a very large retailer and whenever decisions like this are made we take a look at the the options we have and the pros and cons of each and determine what will be most sensible. I am sure Disney and any other large corporation do the same why they have to make decisions like this, otherwise if decisions were made on a whim, most companies would not last.
I am not saying that I am happy about this, but I just don't think that people look at this from the company perspective, nor do they realize what goes on behind the scenes to force them to make a decisions like this.
