Hey all! This is for all those losers who have made it to 30 pounds and are trying to get that 35 pound clippie. Tell us how it's going, how far you are from goal and let's get on losing! I started at 236- hoping for a goal weight around 146. I've lost 34 so far- but the last two weeks have been big losses and that usually means 1-2 weeks to lose just a single pound. But I'm sticking to the plan- walking 4 miles most mornings and slimfasting for breakfast and dinner. I snack with fruit or nuts and drink LOTS of water.
I think it'll take me a year to get to 146 and I started in April- so by next Easter I hope to be close to that number or atleast so far removed from the 200's that I can cruise on down in time. Hope to encourage you on to the next clippie!!! Let's go inspire each other to stay healthy!
:bounce: :bounce: Tara

Tara I just wanted to say i'm so proud of you and what a great idea!!!!!!! I think it would be great to sort of gang up to conquer the next five lbs as a collective group and then get to move over to a new group trying to do the same thing. I sure hope to see some wisher's jumping on board for this idea.

I just got my 25 lb clippie (well you know I still don't have it) just haven't had time to really make it work right. But anyway, I took a vacation and then the MI WISH meet weekend and this week I am having a whole lot of trouble of getting my act together so I am thinking I need to get those next 5 lbs gone so I can come "play" with the 30 lb losers! Hope to see you real soon.

You guys are doing so good - keep up the good work! some some room for me to join you in a couple of weeks :D

OOOOOOOOH Tara! I didn't realize that you are just 1 pound away from the 35 clippie! I have a feeling that one will be yours at your next weigh in! And you're just 3 pounds away from onederland!!! How cool is that! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Keep up the good work, my friend! I am so proud of you and so inspired by you! I can't play with the 30 pound clippers yet but my day is coming!!

I just had to pop in to say:

Tara: Woo-Hoo for you- that 35 pound clippie is almost yours!

and Bev: You got your 25 pounder!!!?? Awesome!!!

Poor Tammy. You don't have anybody to play with! You're the BIGGEST LOSER I know! (You know I love you, girlie. I'll play with you anytime!)

Tara, you know you won't be able to keep us troublemakers out of your "30 pound Clubhouse!" :p

Hahahahhaa.... I was just thinking the same thing, Kathy! I wanna play too! I am trying to hurry up to my 45 pound clippie but I wouldn't mind having you catch me one bit, Tara! Go, Tara, Go! :teeth:

Tara I'd love to come play with you for a while!!! I just got my clippie 2 weeks ago so I've still got a couple of weeks before I can jump to the next club!!! I started this journey in March and I'm down 31 lbs. so far with another 16 to go!! I kind of fell off the wagon at the end of May and have been struggling to get back on but I'm still losing so I'm ultimately hoping to be at my goal by my birthday which is at the end of October. We also have a trip planned to the World in 6 weeks so as a short term goal I'm hoping to lose at least 9 more lbs. which would be incredible!!!

I've been doing my own thing of mainly avoiding sugar, eating a lot more protein, and lots more vegetables. I work out about 5 to 6 times a week and love doing pilates!!!

So that's my story - anyone else want to come play?

I am thinking I will FOREVER be a 30 pound clippy owner! I keep going from 29 to 31 to 30 to 32 to 29 to 30 (today)!! ugh! I want that 35 clippy!!

Well I see some veterans of the 30 pound clipper- some just about to snatch it- and some who are trying to pass it on to ya!! Let me just say that it's INSPIRING to see those 40-65 pound clippies!! You guys really pull us up to your level!

And for those that are only 15 pounds away from goal- these last 15 can be the toughest- we're here to challenge you to take it one week at a time and you WILL get there- 9 pounds by your birthday is SOOO doable!! I have found (although I'm doing slimfast) that when I make my meal mostly protein I tend to lose more and I save my carbs for my mid-meal snacks- which are usually berries of some sort and about 10 big cashews or some other nut. The main thing I've cut out is sugar and white flour- I tend to only eat whole wheat anything and am doing alot of grilling now that it's summer.

And for Kelsie!! You are AMAZING!! Those new clippies are just beyond cool and your commitment to WISH is worthy of a couple of pounds gone!! (If only we could give you coupons for pounds off! :)) Have you measured like Kath says?? Are you having any challenges that we can help you with? The things that help me the most is drinking water throughout the day and sometimes with lemon juice squuezed in it, not eating ANYTHING after 6pm, and getting a good nights rest- I usually am in bed by 10pm and wake up by 5:30. You can do this!!!

Let's get that 35 pound clippie!! Please share how you're doing in the weeks to come and we'll see how we can adjust our plan of attack if it's not working.

ONWARDS & DOWNWARDS!!!
Tara

Hi Tara, I would love to join in with you. I only recently tried on my 30# clippie and I have to say I am rather proud to see the gold! I started WW a little over 5 months ago and have lost 31 pounds to date, prior to that I was just watching what I was eating and it took me 5 months to lose 9 pounds, so in 10 months I have lost a grand total of 40 pounds. I haven't really settled on a definite "goal" weight, but originally I was shooting for 155 lbs., which is 23 pounds away, but I am not sure if I am going to change that goal or not, it all depends. The last month I have been off program because I was on vacation (still lost 2# though) and even though I returned home this week I haven't gotten back on track, but I am headed that way Monday morning.

Congrats on your loss and to all of those 30# clippie veterans above! All of your successes help keep me motivated, keep up the great work!

Well, I don't think I can squeeze out a pound to claim that 35 pound clippie this week! :( I started TOM on Saturday and probably won't finish until Thursday- I may just have to weigh in mid-week to see if I can get there. Which still puts me 2.5 pounds away from anything under 200. I am going to push for my 8/5 goal of reaching Onederland. I have stuck to my Slimfast plan this week and walked over 20 miles and still the scale isn't budging- but I knew after having a 7 pound loss in 2 weeks I was due for a plateau. How's everyone else doing this week??? Come on let's make that 35 pound clippie in August!!! :)

Let's get 'em gang!!!!
Tara

Hi Tara! It is TOM for me too so I normally don't count my weigh-in since I always start on weigh-in day. I had to check the scale though and I am exactly what I was last week, so I am hoping that by next weigh-in I will be a little closer to that new clippie. Keep up the good work and by next week I am sure you will be grabbing the coveted clippie.

Me, Me, Me!! I am a 30 pound clipper!!!

Of course, once I got to 30 pounds, that was it! LOL...I seemed to have stalled, but that is fine with me, as long as I don't gain, I am happy right now...since I am going on vacation and the last few weeks have been stressful, I am thankful that I have maintained! :) I am going to do my best to stay on plan while at Disney, so hopefully I will be okay~

Great idea for this thread, it is great to be able to talk to others who are in the same clippie as I am!! :)

Hey! Just thought I'd let you know that Geetey lost .5 pound when she went to Disneyworld- AND she had fries, burgers and chocolatey things! :) That was sooo encouraging for me ( our trip is in September) so you'll do just fine- it really is hard to gain with all that walking- my husband thinks he'll gain a bunch because he's on Atkins- so he's going to up his carbs a few weeks before we go so it won't be such a big shock to his system. But even those who are on Atkins lose the added weight the week after they go back on plan- so here's some good vibes for a great trip.
Let us know how it went! HAVE A BLAST!
Tara

Well, I am staying at my parents house this trip and they have this huge community that they live in, so I still plan on staying on my walking excersize while there! So along with all the Parks and walking each morning in my parents community, I should be fine...we shall see!!

Thanks for the encouraging words, it really helps me alot!!

I just got my 30lb clippie yesterday and I'm hoping not to keep it for too long. I have been doing Atkins for exactly 8wks today and I have lost 30lbs. Although I don't have a certain goal # in mind, I think I will be trying to lose about another 25 lbs. I love Atkins and have had really great success doing it but I am very dedicated to it. I have not cheated a single time in 8wks. I am hoping for my 35lb clippie by August 12(2 wks from today). Given the way things have been going for me I think I can do it. If I stick to program closely and drink tons of water, I will be able to do it. I wish everyone here luck in getting their 35lb clippie.

Wdwnutze!!! That is FANTASTIC!!! You should give yourself a big hug for a cheat free 8 weeks- and look at how it's paid off!! I think you'll have that 35 pound clippie before you hit 10 weeks at the rate you're going! Keep us updated- we'd love to "travel" with you as you trade in those clippies....

Keep up the GREAT work- you're officially a big loser!!!
Tara

I did it! I said I wanted to get the 35lb clippie by 8/12 and when I weighed in this morning, I lost 3 1/2 lb for a total of 35lbs! I will stop by the 35lb clippie thread but don't plan to stay there for too long either. I will try to stay for only 2wks. I'm narrowing in on my goal so I am getting even more motivated!! Hope everyone else is doing well.

WOW You're FLYING through these clippies- I know you're soooooo excited and thrilled to push Onwards & Downwards!! WAY TO GO!!!!

WOOHOO
YAHOOOO
YIPPEEE- next is the 40 pound clippie- I'm trying to snatch this one too- let's make it sooner than later!!! :)
