$30 off AP offer

Does anyone know if the site is working today? I want to order our APs tonight. Thanks for the info. If it doesn't work on my computer, I can try on our other one.

I don't know, but remember to clear your browser cache/cookies beforehand. That seems to make it work for a lot of people when it didn't work before.

Molly, so glad you got it to work!!

Great! I'll do that. Thanks for the info.

If i remember reading right it had to be activated by january 2010??? Anyone that has bought on can you confirm i'm trying to think what would be better this offer or upgrading a so-cal pass as we will be doing universal and sea world as well!

Oh and YES the e-ticket had info about January 2010 on it. Alas I'm not sure what the exact date in January it stated, but it was definitely Jan of '10.

Since you're doing Universal and Seaworld (not the zoo or WApark?), you'll have to check it all out.

I'm looking at Universal's info right now, and they have online deals like 2 days for the price of 1, at $67. If you thought 2 days there would be great, then that might work for you. Seaworld, every time we've gone, has the same sort of thing. Last December, they had a "buy one day, get the rest of '07 and all but 4 or 5 days of '08" deal. Incredible! Again, if you want to do two (or more) days at Seaworld, that might be better. But if you just want the ONE day at Universal and ONE day at SeaWorld, then the number-crunching is more important. I see that seaworld's day admission right now is $65 (and they are having the "buy one day, get the rest of '08 plus most of '09" deal).

So if the extra days aren't worth it, that's 132 for those two parks, and then the 3 days on the citypass is usually valued (by Disneyland) as a 3 day pre-purchased (from disneyland.com) hopper. Right now, for '08, that's 179. (for January 6, 2009 thru April 30, 2009 it's 149, and for the rest of '09 until they raise the prices again it's 179)

Add it all up, see if it works for ya! :)

Oh good, it IS good until Jan. of 2010, I wasn't sure about that and was hesitant to buy the girls' passes with that discount because they aren't going on our Jan. trip. Now that I know that perhaps they will get new DL AP vouchers for Christmas!! WOO HOO!!!!!

I still cant purchase it apparently disneyland doesnt accept australian mastercards GRRR its annoying me soon i will get so angry and just not go to disneyland. :o(

I'm sorry!!! Do you have paypal? You can find someone nice who will take your money via paypal and buy them for you maybe? I will do it for you if you want......I will need the paypal first though and I will totally understand if you don't want to do it because you have NO idea if I'm honest or not. I AM but that's just my word you'd have to take. :)

I've had that same problem when ordering tickets from the US with my Australian credit card. I just kept trying all of my cards until one worked. From memory, I think the Virgin Money cards do work. I was getting really frustrated though because I have 1 card I like to do all my online purchases with, and it just wouldn't work!

Hopefully i can get my debit mastercard to work if not will go around all my friends and give them the money to see if theres works all i need its my disneyland AP's :confused3

I was wondering if the foreign cards might be a problem. How annoying that must be! I am glad that one can find the right card to use ( That being what the site will accept ) I hope that everything will work out for you. :)

ok so now i have tried 4 cards and it still wont let me go through with the transaction all i want to do is buy my tickets i think im going to cry it just wont let me buy them
i dont know what to do:confused3

You can send an email to Disneyland's Guest Services. And or phone them. I know that would be rather long distance, but if you can call at a time, that would cost less, but still be during the day here, that would be great. Or if anything, I can call tomorrow, and ask. I hope that they know the answer! :)

Or try the Virgin Money card, like the pp did. Since it worked for them, why not you too? :)

Unfortunatly i dont have one of these credit cards and dont want to apply for one just for the sake of purchsing these tickets.

I have also asked all my frieds and none of them own one of these either so i presume that i cant purchase these type of tickets.

Bummer

Could you PayPal the money to someone in the states and have them buy the APs for you? Mailing them would be simple since it's just a little slip of paper.

Oh, woops! I was thinking of the Costco AP offer where you get the $50 gift card.

Ok, I've been thinking about this and came up with one possible solution.

Here in the states you can go to certain retail stores (grocery, variety) and buy gift cards. I bought each of my nieces an international VISA card that I put a certain amount of money on for them for a recent trip to Europe. There was an activation fee of about $5, I think. Wouldn't Disney take an international card like that? You might see if you can find one where you are. That way you could use your personal credit card to purchase the international one and put on it the amount you would need for purchasing APs.

I might have a look for one of those today as its saturday morning here in australia at the moment i never though of something like that.

i will have a go today and let you all know my out come.

I am strongly considering purchasing 3 of these APs but really want to make sure that they will still be good to activate on May 31, 2009. That's the first time we'll be back and had planned to purchase APs then. Saving $90 would be really great but only if the APs will be valid on that date.

I know there have been posts in this thread indicating that the APs were valid for activation until January 2010, but they seem to be third party accounts. Can someone who has actually purchased an AP through this link verify the activation date deadline? Any help will be greatly appreciated! :)

Yes, I can verify that. I have purchased two and will purchase two more in Dec, before the offer is over. I looked at my ticket and this is what it says:

Redeem by: 01/04/2010

I tried to copy and paste from the ticket, but it won't let me. You are safe!

Also, I was able to take the confirmation number and access the AP portion of the Disneyland Website. Too Cool!

Good Luck!

Trodrigue, thank you so much for your quick and positive response! I will definitely be purchasing the APs. :cool1:
