Doing our 5th DC in mid Oct, billed as Halloween, who has done and what special things are there onboard? We have DD 13 and 16 ....it's a bonus trip to get to # 5 so it's a short one and hurricane season so hoping for the best and some new things to try. Probably won't get off in Nassau but enjoy ship
TIA

I am interested too as we are one a similar sailing. I think there is a pumpkin tree in the lobby and some sort of ceremony with that? I really need to get investigating this.

We did it last September. LOVE DCL, didn't love the 3 night Halloween cruise. We booked it for the Halloween aspect of it. Night one there is a pumpkin tree story, then the next day a little pumpkin magic happens. Trick or Treating is day 2, around 4pm. Which was terrible for us since we went to Atlantis. By the time we got back we were trying to rush and put our costumes on to trick or treat, but didn't make it. Our friends did, it was 1 hour, 4 stations, on the sweltering hot pool deck. There was a little show on the stage up there and that was it for Halloween. Then 3 hours later it was Pirate night. Too much crammed into the 3 night Halloween cruise, I said we would never do it again!

Not to be a party pooper, but I am surprised and a tad disappointed they have designated our Sept 8th sailing as a Halloween cruise. Seems a fuzz early....... Oh well. Guess we can just wear our pirate costumes twice. :rotfl2: You know, like the same stage shows being shown more than 1 night. :lmao:

I was under the impression that the pirate night was a pirate/halloween night? We didn't book it specifically for Halloween. It just worked out for our dates and school days off.

Yes, well it is. We didn't know that the Halloween portion would be at 4pm. They should have done it a little later because people do get off the boat in Nassau, and it's too much rushing. The hour long event was the only Halloween themed for that night (aside from an adult only event late at night). Then it was all the typical Pirate Night stuff that they do on a non holiday cruise. But, if you don't care about Halloween, then it shouldn't bother you. We booked for the Halloween aspect.

They're just keeping up with the parks! They're actually a little later...the first MNSSHP is something like August 17.

Good to know. We were thinking about the same 3 night Halloween cruise next year, but I’m still doing research. Thanks for the info!
