Just returned from a week long vacation w/ our DS4 and DS1 and my brother/wife and their 2 kids age 4.5 and 2.
The 1st day my niece left her princess bear on the couch in the lobby when they arrived at WL. My DH noticed it and told my sil but they forgot it anyway. They noticed 2 days later and called the hotel and they had it.
My DS4 has a little dog that he's held onto and carried EVERYWHERE for 3.5yrs. We've only lost him 1 time and that was in a rarely used drawer in the house for 2 weeks! Well we went to the Contemporary for DH to do some business and DS and I went to the Arcade there. While we were exchanging his coupons for his trinkets he must have set it down. I noticed it missing while on the boat back so I knew where it must have been. We called the hotel lost and found the next day and they did not have it
. I knew it was there!!!!! The day before we left I said I had to go back and look myself since I KNEW where we must have left him and MAYBE he was lost in the dark arcade. I asked at the counter in the arcade and the guy knew exactly what I was talking about and had it!! I almost cried.
This little dog has a dog collar and ID w/ our 2 cell #'s and WL Villas written on it!! Why no one called I don't know?? Oh well. So if you lose something and called lost and found and they say they don't have it don't despair. I think they must hold things at the original location for a while before sending it to officail lost and found.
While at MK MNSSHP DS1 had a floppy dog he sleeps w/ tied with a water bottle lanyard around it's neck and hook onto the stroller. We noticed it gone and was not willing to retrace our steps. The lanyard velcro's in 1 spot and figured it must have gotten pulled off on the ground/stroller or n somehting. We reported it to Guest Relations and they said it had not been returned at park closing and anything found that night will go to the official lost and found at the TTC. I called when we got home the next day and still no luck. They take down your info and will actively look for it for 7 days and mail it back.
So..just wanted to let you know about our experience and hope this does ot happen to anyone else. Wish us luck w/ baby's little dog
