Disney Hollywood Studios Morning
Day 7
After a fun filled breakfast, everyone headed over to Star Tours
the line wasnt long at all, surprisingly enough. Pop and I decided we werent going to ride it
simulators dont always do well with us.
Dad and I decided to venture over to
.
I completely realize and admit that Im quite the Disney Dork, but this exhibit really is awesome
it would be interesting for those who arent quite into Disney as my family. There was a wealth of information about Walt Disney and his life
lots of pictures and actual items that he used.
For some reason, I always get a little sad when I think about him not being able to actually see Walt Disney World and the finished product
.very sad that his life had to be cut short before his dream came to fruition.
DH and I watched the movie clip a couple of years ago
dad and I didnt have time
but the film is worth seeing... it was really good, too. If I had more time, I could have spent another 30 minutes just reading and taking it all in. So
if youre a Disneyaholic
then this exhibit is a must do for you!
We met back up with the others over by Star Tours. DH informed me that I would have been fine on the ride
wasnt bad
but Ill still pass. Each of our children HAD to have a separate picture on the Star Wars vehicle (not sure what its called??) And then they didn't want a picture with all 3 of them on it together! Not gonna bore you with all those pictures
Since the Star Wars weekends were going on throughout June, there were some pretty cool things set up
.Pop and Stephen decided to have a little fun
being silly (so easy to do at WDW, isnt' it?!)
Time for
..
The stand-by line was at 70 minutes

thank goodness for FPs!!
Who doesnt love this ride??!!! Well
I guess there are a few, but this is like my do or die ride! NOT gonna miss it. Thats why I run like a mad woman for FPs. Heres a little secret
on a perfect DHS morning, we would have made rope drop
.then, I run to get FPs, when the others catch up, Ive got them, then we jump in line with a very short wait time. Therefore, getting to do TSM twice in one day without long waits
.try it!
Here is my score along with either Jesse or Faith
dont remember. NOT great, huh??! DS10 reminds me of this each time he sees this picture
oh well
.
When we were finished, it was raining. Luckily we come prepared for those FL rain showers
however
this wasnt just a shower
it was a DOWNPOUR!!! No kidding!!! It was flooding!!! I actually kind of enjoyed it....what's a Disney trip without a storm?!
Somehow we got separated between TSM and the GMR
.DH, Stephen & Jesse ended up together. We waited it out under the shelter by the GMR. And let me tell ya
.I am soooooo glad that I paid an extra $10 for these stroller covers!!! I felt so very sorry for people with drenched strollers. Faith and Jesse could actually sit in the stroller with the cover over it while we pushed forward through storm.
Then I really felt sorry for those people who didnt have ponchos! There were some wet individuals to say the least. We carry a supply ponchos in our back packs
the throw away kind. While it rained buckets, we decided to do the GMR
when we came out
it was almost clear
kind of
.still drizzling.
We ran over to
.
Jesse and Faith really wanted to see this
Stephen not so much, but he still enjoyed it after it was all said and done.
If you have small children, then this is a must do! Lots of fun for them!!! DD5 and DS4 danced and sang the whole time. Warning, though
you have to sit on the floor. And they kinda make you sit close, so no spreading out
a bit tight.
Stay tuned
.up next
lunch at 50s Prime Time!!!
